Ah. Thanks, it's an interesting workout. But some folks might get drunk, and want to try out these moves maybe. I think it's statisically men, who want to beat each other up! It's certainly going to hurt folks, if they get hit. Even with punches. It's potentially fatal, and in English Boxing. The rules, are that. Only closed fist strikes are allowed. The rules, in boxing. Really seem to cut down defensive options. I am keen to learn how to deal with each punch. I am thinking of defensive strategies. In fact, I am a local person. To Plymouth. With a real passion for martial arts. There are, so many strategies and even. Unarmed, there's many offensive combinations to deal with. So, if running fails. Or worse still. Exhaustion results in situations where there's no energy left for defence. So what about, dealing with these strikes? Maybe, in two ways? Within, the rules of boxing, for entertainers hoping to make some money. And 2, for folks concerned about drunken violence and want to learn how to diffuse a violent situation and get away. Although, in some situations. Leaving a violent situation. Might be a split from a loved one! But, with a left jab. In boxing. Because, I learned about blocking with a chop. It's not allowed in boxing. So, what about defensive manoeuvres within the rules of boxing for a left jab? For, an upper cut, it might be possible to block this powerful punch. Maybe with both elbows? With a high boxing guard. The left hook, maybe a duck. But, I struggle to deal with jabs, within the rules and also overhand punches. I can't think of how to deal with repetitive jabs, without using chops. And, the overhand punch, it's impossible to duck and. Hard to deal with, if you are running away from a faster person. Perhaps the solution is to dodge sideways?
