What is the width of the opening? (Are the 2 sizes diff or the same?) Considering for cat litter as my current genie the opening is too small. Also tip--I use $1 store zip tie packs to tie the bottom & top. Saves on liner length over knots!

How do you convert it into a regular trashcan? I have watched 5 videos so far and not one shows how it is converted.

Hello, all you have to do is remove the little trap door (so when the lid opens, it is a fully open). You can either continue to use the Dekor liners or you can use any trash bag liner of your choice.

What is the difference between the Plus and Classic? Can u use the same size bags?

Hi there unfortunately they are different sizes and require different bag liners to use them. The plus size is larger

Yes. The bags are very hard to find at a local store so you have to purchase online. I didn't want to get into a situation where I didn't have any liners on hand so I've only ever used regular 13 gallon trash bags. :-) The concept of the specialty liners is similar to that of the litter maid pails and I find them to be very expensive and having to replace the insert too often. Again, any 13 gallon trash bag will work. I personally get the hefty bags with the febreeze/gain smell to them. I have the Dekor Plus pail and can go about 1 1/2 - 2 weeks before having to replace the bag. (My child is 23 months and I've been using this since day 1)

Why cant you use any diaper bag and have to buy a specific diaper bag?

You can use the dekor liners or you can use regular trash can bag (or reuse a plastic grocery bag or something). We have done both with ours - completely up to you!
