Good advice. I've found women really struggle with #2. I can't count how many times I've talked to female friends or family members who've wasted time questioning whether a guy was really into them. I know for me, when I was, I'd go out of my way to talk to her, spend time with her, and talk about the idea of establishing a romantic relationship.

I just got out of a situation like this where I thought things were going a certain direction but he claimed God was his number one focus and he didn’t want to pursue anything romantic, so I told him well we shouldn’t go out on dates and stuff because that’s giving mixed signals and very confusing but the stuff he would say was very contradicting. So annoying lol so now we just don’t talk I mean we’re still cool but have to keep that distance then, ya know?🤷🏽‍♀️

I think it's feeling good in your own skin and presenting your best self but also understanding that looks aren't everythaaaang lol. I tell my little sister that if you look good on the outside but your heart ain't cute it's FALSE ADVERTISING lol.

I’m a 65 year old man. The majority of my life I have been a single man. Whenever someone would ask why I wasn’t with someone, they only answer I ever had was that, somebody has to say yes when I ask them out. I’m convinced that if it is truly a good man who is approaching you, you just want to be friends. You don’t really want good…… you want hot. Forget about me, you’re destroying you own best opportunities.

Hi Roger. I don’t know what it’s like to be a man and have to pursue and ask women out, but not receive a yes. I’m sorry that has been your experience. I can only imagine how hard rejection is for good men. But just because a man is good, it doesn’t necessarily mean he is good for us. Yes mutual physical attraction must be there and is what draws us, but everything else is what keeps us. It’s not always a matter of destroying opportunities or wanting someone “hot” as it is wanting to be with someone who is on the same page with their faith, kingdom mission, vision, life goals, and values; is suitable for us spiritually, physically, emotionally, mentally, character, personality, and some interests. I pray God will bring you a wonderful, godly woman who you can love, serve, and grow with in His timing. :)
