I was a yoga teacher for 7+ years and Naela’s testimony IS what woke me up!!!!! Even when I was homeless and addicted, He was loving on me and protecting me. I didn't even acknowledge His existence. I'd completely forgotten about Jesus, but He was still faithful. I was raised in a cult. Jehovah's Witness. I didn't get baptized in it till I was 29, for fear of disappointing God and not earning his love. I even felt that I had to earn my parents' love. I left the JW'S and was so scared that they were still right. I found Jesus through my alcoholic husband, who was 20 years sober . He showed me that Jesus saved him. I am so blessed and know that God does love me and it's not that I'm perfect, his love is perfect and I have found fulness in him.😊

I already want to know more! I'm an RBT and I help autistic kids in their homes and teach them. I have gone a few times with a certain family to their church for a community outing session. The lady goes to a JW church and it's all in Spanish. I didn't really see too much difference between a normal service and theirs, however I wasn't listening to everything they say, I was more focused on helping her daughter since I was working. But believe me, there are things I would really like to say to them :/ there's people that go to church, they hear whatever, then they go home and possibly they don't continue trying to grow in their relationship and faith in God and in reading the Bible and praying for truth to be revealed to them. Some of the cartoons for kids nowadays are extremely openly demonic, I'm not joking. Thus lady was allowing her daughter and her cousins to watch a show where there was literally a demon character on the screen with horns asking another character to sign a contract to give their soul to the devil. This lady maybe wasn't paying attention, but she was right in front of the screen with her daughter and nieces. I DO NOT understand how that's just okay for her and it's not a big red flag.

It was a problem and made me feel anxious which is antithetical to God's word.

Back in 2020, I came back to the Lord, and I am now running after and serving God all my heart. I was in the Philadelphia gay scene from 2006-2019. I went out to every gay club, I went to gay bath houses, etc, looking for love in all the wrong places.... But I was NEVER SATISFIED.... My Jesus loves me so much, that he welcomed me back with open arms. I am a retired middle school counselor from a large public school system. So many kids came to me so confused about their identity, so depressed, suicide ideation, etc. Deep down I was always praying for their confusion, that God would deliver them of their anxiety and depression. My only comment that I would ever tell them was that God never puts doubt in your head. My hands were tied while I was working with what I could say. Please keep praying for our young kids. I have always been a born again Christian, but became a bit lukewarm as an adult. Stay close to Him thru prayer and bible reading. EVERY SINGLE DAY. And in your prayers tell Him that you surrender yourself to Him. You might not feel like you are but He will work on your heart, It takes time. Also, include the reading of Ephesians 6:11 (Gods armour) and the prayer of the Arcangel Saint Michael. Give it time and be consistent. Take Him with you wherever you go. He loves you, you just need to grow the strenght of your faith and trust Him. All will be well.

i gave my life to Jesus. got baptised 2 weeks ago. lost all my friends. people from my old church questioned my faith in God. it’s true my old life died but my spirit thrives in the name of Jesus. it wasn’t easy and it is a consistant journey. however Jesus is always with me. how can i not be overflowing with joy! people, including my family, say that the person i am now is totally different. “like 180”. family friends even say “it’s like i’m talking to a different person”. and when you are suffering in sin it’s like you don’t even know it. but when you give your life to Jesus and you see His goodness in creation, you learn to love His creation. praise be to God, in the name of Jesus 🙏🏽

We have to be monogamous or celibate like heterosexuals. God's ways are equal (Ezek. 18:25, 29).

59 yo lady who identifies with the former alphabet gentleman lol. When you said you saw God as judgemental I understood. My dad was a pastor and I was always waiting for someone to point me out as an imposter. For so many years I felt like I had to fix me so I could be saved. I saw these people who had that joy in the Lord. I wanted that and every time I would pray at the altar I could count the hours until I had sinned on one hand. I carried all those sins around for years. I had a period where I couldn't feel God anymore. Absolutely the darkest time of my life. Praise God for showing me he could fix 55 years of sin and take the desires of the flesh from me! God bless you all for sharing your story

I was going deeper into new age, and I still loved Jesus!! I realized I was doing witchcraft even though I didn’t realize it!! The Lord gave me the gift of hearing and seeing demons. I was physically attacked by a possessed man and many other bad things over years. It was seeing the demons that opened my eyes!! Praise the Lord I repent daily and I’m covered by the Blood of Jesus!!!

Thank you for your comment. I was struggling with horrible nightmares involving demons, and I tried to fight them off by calling out to Jesus during the nightmares. I would brush them off, thinking they were just nightmares, but then one came along that was so intense that I forced myself to wake up, as the demon simply would not give up, and I was getting exhausted. I was so scared that I couldn’t sleep in my room anymore and would sleep with my little brother. After that, I started devoting myself more to God, and the nightmares have stopped. The first night I decided to sleep in my room again, I felt something being thrown at me, but there was nothing there. I could tell the devil was mad at me for turning back to God. I also feel that my prayers are stronger now, and I feel more connected to God.
