After repeatedly failing my Chevening applications, I learned that these five mistakes were perhaps the biggest turn-offs. Here I'd like to share with you some tips to write winning Chevening essays.

i wish to get answers for some necessary questions please shall i use my personal statement and study objectives i wrote before in fulbright scholarship or it will fall with palgarism issue ? and as i got my PHD degree from local university ... is this matter effect the chance of getting chevenning scholarship master degree as i dont deserve master degree and some others are in need for it or it doesnt matter or it will strength my chance ??? also what about recommendation letter ... Must be from two teachers and professors , or may it be from work supervisor or director or someone upper in job hierarchy or achievement relation ???

Hi there! Thank you for dropping your question here. The requirements for Chevening scholarship applies to everyone regardless of their study programme. I would suggest you to study Chevening scholarship requirements as well as the essay prompts. The only tips I can share is to learn from many Chevening scholars as you can, especially those with similar study programme as yours. LinkedIn can be a good place to start. All the best!

Does words limitation effect on the application especially when it will be over 500?

Not that I'm aware of. But technically, the essay space in the Chevening website will not accommodate words over 500.

YES ! they can't be more than 500 words ! not even 501 words ..... all essays go through an AI check and you'll automatically be disqualified , and it's same for no less than 100 words

I applied every year until I got it. Chevening allows applicants who failed in the previous year to apply in the following application cycle. Best of luck for you! 🥳
