What about a higher gear ratio so that you don't lose acceleration. And adjusting the speedometer so it reads accurately instead of just throwing on some big rims on your truck and wondering why it's slower it gets worse gas mileage. And will probably get stuck in sand and snow.

Aftermarket truck wheels always end up looking bad in my opinion. My favorite wheel is the 20" matte black one from the Ram 1500. Nice and simple, yet looks good with an aggressive tire.

Please reply to this, what is the point of the low profile off road tires. They seem like the worst of both worlds. You can't air them down, they don't appear to offer protection to the rim. You get the noise, wear life, and poor street performance of an AT or mud tire and the "comfort" of a Low Profile. I don't see an upside what am I missing?

Even though this is a very good information about wheels unfortunately so many people buy them for the looks they don't even think about How The wheels going to perform what wheels they need they just buy them because they look nice. My friend did this to his Jeep Grand Cherokee He bought absolutely huge wheels it's unstable it Does the death wobble. Wheels like this are neat they are don't get me wrongBut any kind of wheel that's bigger than the normal size wheel that's on your vehicle is going to drive different no matter what. Gas mileage sinks Driving performance go's downhill It wears your transmission You start replacing wheelbearings more often. The list goes on
