Since you’re already wearing the Fierce Deity armor, you gain nothing by eating an Attack Up meal as you already have Attack Up.

Three words - break every crate. With the fuse ability, arrows are super useful. They are plentiful in the world, as long as you don't ignore freebies.

@@The8asementDon’t know if you’re serious or not; Beedle is running a scam. He has a 50% markup on his arrows. Buy from anyone _but_ Beedle. (He’s also always trying to steal my rhino beetles; dude is shady AF.)

5:26 Attack up food does not stack with the attack buff from the armor. It's better to use on or the other and choose another buff. Stealth (Sheika) armor for stealh and attack food are a good combination for that Hinox fight.

I’m on my first play through, got sky and land done and like 30% of depths done and just discovered the hover bike. I think I’ll just keep on doing what I’m doing based on your advice. It’s the first game I have enjoyed in many years.

Lets be honest: When your fighting and not trying to show how good a sage can be, its a real pain to actually try to use them. I almost never use any of them but tulin in the air.

This is absolutely true. In making this video I actually had to practice using them because it's not easy. There is a way to consistently get it to work but a lot of it has to do with finding the right distance from the enemy.

You can also whistle at anytime during combat to bring them to you. It's a bit janky still, but with practice I find getting them in range isn't too bad.

Yunobo is a pretty good attack opener. He also gives you essentially unlimited free steak. Just roll him at any animal & his fire cooks it. Saves tons of arrows.

Nice. Some people want to just get to the end as fast as possible. It's nice to enjoy and smell the roses. Also trying to figure out the Nintended ways for some stuff can be fun

Do not forget to use your camera and fill out the compendium, especially for Master Kohga, Seized Construct, Moragia, and Sludge Like since these will never come back after they are defeated. If you want to revisit them, create a new save file and progress as much as you can without defeating them, then you can experiment with Zonai devices and figure out interesting ways to fight them.

The Hudson Sign also works well for a flying design. 3 fans, control stick, Perfectly balanced, enough space for a Korok. 15 zonai from scratch.

5:24 Here's a mistake you guys are making! FOOD BUFFS DON'T STACK WITH ARMOR BUFFS. All buffs either have a max level of 1 or 3, so eating a lvl 3 attack up meal won't do anything if you're already wearing armor that gives you attack up lvl 3.

You need to wear armor that increases the damage of bone weapons if you want that.

I don't think the attack potion stacks when you're already wearing full attack gear. I've tried it and it seems to do the same damage.

It does however stack if you wear armor that increases the damage of bone weapons.

@@zachtwilightwindwaker596 So you use an attack potion, then bone armor, and attach a bone to a zora longsword, and get wet first. I believe the molduga jaw is the strongest bone. Oh, and do a sneak attack with it. Too bad there's no room to add a hot weather attack too.

@@customsongmaker I think using royal guard weapons are even stronger. Especially if they are almost broken. Mounting Lynels and killing them is super easy and your weapon won't break when doing that.

@@zachtwilightwindwaker596 yes but a wet attack weapon doubles the damage of the bone attached too. So you'd have over 100 damage, then the bone armor doubles that, then your attack potion increases it too.

The “No Hearts” challenge is fun. 100% Shrines and Light Roots; No Heart upgrades. It makes the Depths a bit more challenging as you have to avoid or heal gloom damage quickly or get 1-shotted by just about everything.

I guess it is related to the "don't fly everywhere" rule but I think the greatest mistake people do is to use the fast travel. Pretending it doesn't exist makes the entire adventure so much more memorable. Even for getting out of the depths, or maybe especially for getting out of the depths. Finding those ascend points becomes so much more meaningful and once I had to escape by riding a dragon out. I mean how cool is that? (I only use it when the tutorial tells you to at the start of the game but avoid it after that.) Sidon is also extremely useful in helping you survive in hot weather and even volcanic heat areas. It doesn't keep you from burning just while you are in the bubble, but for the period afterwards that you are wet too. I don't need to have prepared special foods or found the right kind of clothes. I got Sidon.

@@zachtwilightwindwaker596they're saying that you should avoid using it when possible because it forces you to walk to your destination, which naturally encourages exploration. That's what I'm doing in my latest playthrough and I've found it pretty satisfying honestly. I obviously still use fast travel all the time, but I try to walk or at least take my horse everywhere because I've found so many new things in the game completely organically by doing so. Obviously play it however you want dude, but I've found a lot of enjoyment in just taking the game slowly and following whatever plot thread Nintendo dangles in front of me 😂

About the last one, i did all of the rito quest without cold protection In the wind temple, i founf a weapon with a ruby and found out that it would prevent me from getting cold, so i kept it in my back and switched to another weappn for battling

I always have all the sages on because once you get used to them they don’t get in the way as much and I slow find myself using a sage more and more sometimes.

"Go on foot..." I did this in BoTW too. I only started using horses to explore after I was ready to "beat the game." I had a lot of fun during that bit and even discovered a few out of the way areas. In ToTK, which I'm taking my sweet time on too, I have just started to use horses here and there for fun and other than a few instances getting way up into the sky I've barely used vehicles. I'm saving that experience for when there's basically nothing left to do but "beat it." I'm hoping we'll get a DLC before I get there though. 😅

@@BLOODLUSST666 I'm really hoping that when they announced there would be no DLC for ToTK on the Switch that they meant that DLC would be for the next console. Also, I'm hoping that they link it to BoTW somehow where you travel in-between. There was a hint of sky islands in BoTW that you couldn't reach. There's also the fact that they let you keep your horses from BoTW at the stables. Maybe some underworld... what would really be cool to me is if the overworld were expanded and some of the area outside were populated. Take the North East and South East as an example. There's abilty for them to expand that into new territory. What skill would you want?

@@CynHicks idk honestly. Maybe something with teleporting a short distance. This is one of the most diverse skill sets I've seen in a while. Like it's difficult to expand on something so great as what's been given to you already. But a teleporting skill is definitely on my list. I'll update you when I come up with more ideas

@@BLOODLUSST666 That would be awesome! Combat strategy with the abilty to quickly teleport within a radius the size of say the max distance of ultrahand would be crazy. You could fire arrows and teleport to the target befote they even hit! It would probably allow for the addition of some ridiculously fast, powerful bosses too. I'd just be happy with the ability to make more travel medallions. It's not nearly as cool or game changing as real-time teleporting but would be very useful.

Just got this game two weeks ago and loving it.. love these recommendations as well. I basically go everywhere on foot and for some odd reason I looooove exploring the depths-haven’t even illuminated half of the depths map area yet… this game is so amazing!!!!

0:19 Cat ghost? Did you have a cat that died? I don't think crystalized charges are that common. I went to every shrine so I don't think I am missing that much. I am missing a few caves though. I don't know if I found every Yiga hideout. I think I did. 5:29 The mistake you made here is wasting Attack up recipes while wearing the Fierce Deity outfit. Those don't stack. You can however wear the Radiant Outfit to increase damage from bone weapons and combine that with attack up. I think the strongest weapon can KO a Lynel when you mount it just once. 7:04 I was mostly done with the game by the time I fought Ganondorf. I don't have the free time to do challenge runs.

I use the Fierce Diety armor for a +3 attack boost and combine that with a meal that gives me +3 defense

I put a hard save at the point where you get the glider so I can replay the game over and over on auto saves and skip the sky islands when I want.

I'm almost done with the game and I still only have one little battery icon with 3 cells in it when I use any vehicle. It's not even remotely necessary to have like six of them unless you just want to fly around the world aimlessly or something.

I use an Royal Guard's Claymore that's about to break, fuse it with a Silver Lynel horn, climb on the back of the Lynel, beat the crap out of it, and dead. You might have forgotten to let people know that Octoroks can repair weapons and give them perks. I make sure my Royal Guard's Claymore has the highest attack and I wear the Barbarian armor.

Have you tried using the bone proficiency armor sets? I like using the Evil Spirit armor set because I like the look. It can't be upgraded, but I prefer to die looking good over better defense. 😂😂

@@Sakabatou77 I'm not sure if you tried this, but try using the Royal Claymore. It is the flurry rush version. Use the bone proficiency armor set and the mighty bananas meal. There is no need for the +10 bonus. I use the increased durability. I deal 374 damage with a perfect dodge, which is enough to remove the armor on the lynels in the depths with a single hit. It is fun to remove the armor in one hit, and then kill the silver lynel in 6 hits.

It's crazy it takes 100 crystal charges to make 1/3rd of a battery. I had no idea it would be that tedious. Good thing I got the Zoniate Armor somewhat early in game. I ashamed to say all I have now it 2 full batteries. I was expecting that 100 charges made 1 whole battery. They nerfed the hell out of this game in so many ways. Especially when upgrading armor sets, and rupee farming. Its still a great game though.

Sages just ruing your combat, I finished the whole floating coliseum without even taking damage without any sages with 5 hearts, and with the sages, I died 10 times even with 10 hearts

I was absolutely guilty of using a hover bike primarily for travel during my first 5 play throughs. Definitely having more fun by taking my time wandering everywhere and fighting everything.

If you haven't already start playing hollow knight but if you two have good for seriously if you aren't playing knight it'll feel like that platformer will be missing in your heart its ok if you don't like it, I just love that game so much though it's just suggestion I'd just like it if you at least made a couple vids on it. it's only 15 dollars on Nintendo switch and steam.

Mistake #6 Armor and food buffs don't stack. If you are already wearing a full set of Barbarian / Fierce Deity then you gain nothing from an Attack up dish.

I only buy the single crystallized charges if I need 1 or 3. I end up with 297 a lot 😂 Edit: you can also throw splash fruit at yourself to activate the zora weapon buffs. I did a 3 heart run with no temples done. I spent most of the game at one heart utilizing knights weapon buffs.

I beat 120 shrines defeats Ganon completed all main quest and map and never once upgraded my batter or used one zonite just didn’t care for all that. Made energy elixirs to travel faster n I enjoyed the game very much

You need large zonite for some of your upgrades so using them to get crystalized charges will slow down your grind of upgrades making that grind 3 times harder. It seems like you 2 made a lot of mistakes and think everyone did as well but most of us arent this dense. You don't think there was much to botw play so it was ok to fly over it. Lol.

Eu corri demais pra acender todo o mapa com as torres usando esse veículo de zonai, depois corri nas profundezas pra acender todas as raízes, depois explorei cada ilha do céu e só depois fui usar mais os cavalos, oferecer as comidas pra fada cavalo e passar de estábulo em estábulo, e acredito que a ordem certa deveria ter sido o contrário 😂 primeiro andar a cavalo passando por dificuldades para depois explorar os céus e o subsolo😂

#1 thing you should not ever do in TOTK: update the game. The raw vanilla unpatched version offers the maximum amount of glitches, like duping with just a paraglider..

Just my opinion but sandbox zelda isn't nearly as fun to me as TO WW Ocarina Majora.. heck I would even put skyward on the list of better games.. I hate that the master sword lasts for like one bonoblin before running out of power.. the whole game combat system feels like button mashing in mortal combat.. not the puzzle solving utilizing nifty gadget feel of the classics.. to each their own but if not for the zelda name, I don't think I'd play this much.. even with the zelda name I got bored and took a year break from it

I'm hours into a playthrough without a paraglider. I think Nintendo made a huge mistep making it part of the main quest. Also, not using fast travel. I'm having so much more fun trying to work out ways to get to the depths alive, and ways to get back to the surface, and gradually being able to access parts of the sky again through engineering!

one "mistake" that I had made was completing the (!!!spoilers ahead!!!) Master Kohga final fight. I liked that you dont have to fight him to progress the story like in BOTW. But I do miss getting to see that goofy dad bod yiga messing around in the depths
