Bro so much of what you said needs to be said…I been on kratom everyday for almost 8 years, and as a bodybuilder for over 27 years and a coach and mentor for over 22 years I recently had a spinal fusion, I have a major TBI, and my whole body has been beaten battered and bruised. But now kratom has become that nightmare for me, and I have been studying kratoms affects on the hormones for years now and NO ONE even knows what it does and most people don’t wanna listen to me. I’ve got a bunch of vids on my channel on my research of kratom …but now I need to get off, it’s worse than Oxy in many ways. Bro this vid is inspirational to me and I relapse everytime I hit about 7 days off mostly because my pain unbearable to function through. Man I’m writing a novel, my bad…if you want you can watch my vids. Otherwise, glad to meet ya, I’m Adam and go by COACH HardgainZ all over ✌🏻

Yup! I have watched your videos as well. I believe that is small doses (No more than 2-3Gram doses 1-2x daily can have more positive, than negative effects for some people who need it for pain or to get off of more dangerous street drugs like fent or H. The thing with kratom is that tolerance rises fast and at a certain point it stops working and the side effects just keep stacking and getting more and more prominent. Then if you stop taking it it’s hell to get trough WD’s. I have never taken more than 15-20 GPD myself but I have only been on it for 6months. Taking about 12GPD now but plan to slowly taper down to 4-6GPD and re-assess. I have taken street drugs and prescription pills for 10+ years and have a family now so I can’t get in trouble or risk getting dangerous street drugs so for now kratom is the better choice but it’s not something I want to take forever and i definitely don’t want to take anymore than 15-20GPD ever because from what I have heard from countless others that not only do the positive effects stop but serious health complications can ensue to those who abuse it for long periods of time. If you do need it and can take small doses while eating regularly and healthy, exercising, and doing everything else to stay as healthy as possible and doing all the things that will keep you as healthy as possible in all aspects of life.

@@CaliforniaCardsmith hey, ive been takin kratom for about six months everyday and bout 2 years on & off, meaning that i did it like 2 times a month , maximum of 8 grams a day, tho often no more than 6. The thing i found is that it makes me feel concentrated, my work goes super fast, and as Im audio engineer ive got dozens of songs in a week its really helpful. However , if I stop taking it, which i do sometimes for a day or two , i cant focus at all and im pretty agitaded , when Im off kratom my sleep is much better, just found out that if you take kratom 4pm max you wont wake up with hangover but the sleep is still altered , thats what i hate, it messes your sleep and makes it hard for you to focus without it for couple days, other than this i havent found anything crazy bout it. Kratom's magic is that it really works for people who got a business cuz it makes them really invested into their thing and they're able to invest so much more strenght and focus on their thing.

@@CaliforniaCardsmith but kratom goes both ways , I use it to get some more work done to get more ideas and energy for it, and some people jhust straight abuse it, taking it right after waking up for no reason at all.

@@reezio2x appreciate the response. Just like most things in moderation it can be beneficial but once you abuse anything it starts having more negative effects than positive. Because of tolerance and addictive personalities most people find themselves trapped by it and it gets out of control. It’s not easy to keep use under control with any addictive substance but with enough mental toughness and drive I think that it’s possible to use it responsibly. I do plan to taper and use as little as possible. Maybe that’s a small amount and maybe I will just stop all together. I don’t know yet. But one thing I do know is that I don’t want to be taking large doses 3-4x daily because it can cause lots of health issues long term like low testosterone, hair loss, dry skin etc. I think in smaller doses and of you exercise regularly, stay hydrated, eat healthy etc it can be perfectly ok. Thing is most people who abuse it don’t do all those other things. Some people don’t even drink water and kratom is a diuretic.

@@reezio2x I HAD such a wonderful time when I 1st start taking kratom. For maybe 8 months maybe a year maybe. I've been taking it for about 4 and a 1/2 years now and for 3 years I've been chasing it! I hardly feel anything anymore. And I see myself becoming hateful, intolerant of people, and I completely hate getting hungry and having to eat! I just can't stand eating even though I'm hungry. The fact I'm getting something to put in my stomach takes time when all I want to do is sit down and chill! Crazy huh?

Good for you bro. I'm from the UK and got COMPLETELY addicted to the green sludge for two years. Then decided I was a slave to it and stopped cold turkey. It's been two weeks and still not sleeping but all the other brutal effects have worn off so just looking forward to when the insomnia stops, it's a killer having to go to a physical job on 1 hours sleep! But I can only blame myself. No wonder it's illegal in the Uk! 🙏

Are those juggalo axes under your right eye? (sorry I have ADD) and good on you man getting clean is good. And yes the main reason I haven't quit kratom is because when I try I wake up every two hours miserable with rls and anxiety. I want to just take it at night and eventually take valerian root for sleep and quit kratom all together. I defienitly need a career or good job to keep my mind from getting bored and wanting drugs. I'm tired of being in a cloud of forgetfulness and being numb. I want to take the good with the bad in life. We were all kids once and we had fun then naturally without drugs. Something happened along the way with me where I got bored. At some point it got out of control. The first few times with a drug (opiates) It was great fuzzy nostalgic feeling where everything was great. Now it just makes me mean and an asshole and I have to take a bunch just to function at a minimum...It's ridiculous def plan to taper. Appreciate the video and perspective on the topic. I never did heroin or opiate wise because I would get hot flashes and feel just nauseous. Anyways, I’ve been taking it for 4 years and now I do the same scoop and water up to 4-5 times a day. (Mechanic with back issues.) addictive personality as well. I can quit anything mostly because I never had actual withdraws like drinking alcohol I dropped craved it for a few days then never thought about it. This stuff is a whole different ball game. Didn’t even know this stuff was something that had a withdraw. I bought it from a vape shop when the guy told me it helps with energy and pain. Fast forward now and I need to drop this stuff. My question is other than sleep what do you take during the day to keep going? Vitamins etc? Sorry for rambling but I appreciate your few videos you posted!

I feel amazing and onock on wood still have avoided all this sickness but I do take vitamins daily with a health system and I've cut out all process foods, artificial everything so all I eat is stuff directly from farms, meat from farms and raw milk and its been a absolute life changer. With work and school I'm gone for 17 hour m-f and I feel great I even hit the gym on the weekends and thay keeps my mental state good 👍

I was on methadone at the clinic for 7 straight years(years of opioid abuse before that as well). I used Kratom to get off the methadone 6 months ago. I never went above 10-11 grams a day(split into two doses). I’m trying to get off the Kratom now, and I’m at 9 grams a day now. I’m psyching myself out because many years ago I kicked methadone cold turkey in rehab(refused the Suboxone) and it was pretty rough. Any advice?
@Acemechanicalservices

If you kicked 6 years of methadone cold turkey, why are you looking for advice on quitting 6 months of low dose Kratom? Doesn’t really make sense.
@ryanmarvell793
@ryanmarvell793 Жыл бұрын
@@Acemechanicalservices because the longer you’re on opiates/opioids it’s way way harder to get off of. At that point I had only been using for 3 years. Also, I went to rehab for that and did it cold turkey in rehab… much much much easier in rehab because you don’t have responsibilities.

@@fearandloathinginamerica were the withdrawals unbearable at any point for you? I’ve been eating super healthy and working out since the day I dropped methadone and started Kratom. I def have that part down now at least lol. I’m have dealt with crippling anxiety my entire life so quitting completely has always been hard for me no matter what im doing.. I let my brain tell me I can’t do it, and im trying to change that. Kratom doesn’t do much but slightly take away my anxiety, but slightly… then when I don’t take it for a while my anxiety is through the roof, the physical withdrawals are super light it’s just the mental that always screws me.

You are definitely not broken I can promise you. I stopped feeling all weird in about 12 days. I am not months into being sober and im very happy but the cold days hurt for sure. In my experience first time quitting it was a few days until I started to feel normal and motivation it took a while in the sense that mentally I had linked sitting down to "work" with a dose so strongly. So it was more a mental thing, otherwise energetic motivation comes back quite fast.
