There’s something super nostalgic to me when I stand behind an older gentleman who is wearing what I perceive as an “80’s scent” because my father wore them. Stinton, Drakkar. My father is still alive, I just live very far away. It makes me appreciate the gentleman that smells like that..I start to wonder about what he must have been like when he was my age, and I’m in my early 20s. One thing I get from watching your videos is the realisation that I must be a poor guy. I work and have a regular wage each month. I've searched for these fragrances online within the UK and for me, these 'cheap' fragrances rock in around £50 for 100ml (Azzaro, as an example), which I don't consider as cheap. Like I said, I must be a poor guy for that reason. But still, it would seem I'm on a fragrance journey, being someone that has only ever owned two fragrances at any one time. But now, between yourself and Jeremy Fragrance, I'm learning so much regarding seasonal fragrances and their components. Many thanks from South Wales, UK.

Great list! I would add Rasasi Fattan to the list because it not just has a Terre d'Hermes vibe, it is a direct clone, and very similar at that. To me it actually falls between the EDT and the Parfum (I have both of them, as well as the Rasasi.) About the Miyake, how about L'Eau Bleu de Issey? It has better scores than the Bleu Astral on both Fragrantica and Parfumo. I haven't smelled Bleu Astral, but I find L'Eau Bleu a great all- rounder of a fragrance. Some sort of tea vibe in it with that rosemary, very zen and relaxing for me.

I live in The Netherlands and we can buy this for a realy low price even in a regular store. 100 ml for less than € 30,- retail. Yes it is an old fragrance, but man... it still rocks, isn't dated, isn't an old mens scent and smells expensive. Duration on my skin is a solid 8+ hours.

Still one of the best smells I have ever smelled is the polo black. That mango top note is to die for! So unique. I still haven’t bought a bottle yet, as I tend to save for Tom Ford. But I am definitely going to purchase Polo Black this pay day. It’s like $60-$70 for 4.2 on discounters!

@@20biomed08 I had 2 bottles of it in my lifetime and it performed pretty decent given the situation I was in at the time(once in a office type climate controlled environment and it lasted maybe 6-7 hours on ME when I wore it back then as basically my “signature scent” per say and I rocked it nonstop daily the entire spring of 2020 and my wife loved it on me and it performed right at around 4-5 solid hours of consistent projection back then as well given the temperature fluctuations as to when I would go outside in the spring weather to coming back into my home or a store or whatnot an it just made me happy on general every time I would slickly get “whiffs” of it here and there to enjoy myself so I have no complaints with it although Noah might perhaps think differently which is totally fine but just thought I’d add my 2 cents in bro if it helps u out any..if u would like to try it first just comment back and I’ll be more than happy to send u my email so u can contact me personally and I’ll fix u up a couple ml’s in a little spare decant/travel atomizer I have laying around the house so u can at least try it first before committing to a whole bottle and playing Russian roulette with ur cash like that..just lmk..take it easy

Call me naive, but I went to some brick and mortar stores last week hoping to find some Labor Day sales for fragrances. What I saw instead were walls of designer fragrances stacked to the ceiling without the merest whiff of a discount, all pretty much $80-$100. I generally try to support local brick and mortar retail as much as possible- I refuse to use Amazon out of principle- but how is this business model even sustainable?

That is the best TdH clone there is. I really tried a lot of them. And Oasis Verte by Rituals is outstanding. Only that one is discontinued. And you can buy Fattan for 13 euro for 50ml. That price is a real steal.

To this day Terre D'hermes smells horrendous to me, ive tried it a couple of times from testers even bought samples twice thinking something was wrong, and i still hate it. A mix of baby puke and dumpster full of rotten orange peels in the summer heat. I think my skin and that fragrance just dont want to work together.

@@DenisDenis-nv2nr 4-5 hours for me so not great. Some times I layer it with spice bomb extreme because spice bomb extreme is too linear for me. When I do that the combo lasts for 12+ hours
