The Runic Empowerment point was really neat- I didn't realize you needed BOTH runes of a particular type to be on CD before it could proc.

what about using rune strike below 100 rp when I have empty gcds? should I still keep it above 100?

By empty do you mean blood tap, empower rune weapon, and horn of winter are all on cd? If so, yes but ideally it’s better holding out for the rune regen

The answer is a bit complicated. It can be worth it, especially if you’re in a DRW window with no other offensive ability to use. It can also be worth it if you pressing that global will be a net gain in globals spent, but that’s not always the case. And then ofc you don’t want to use that global if you’re coming up on a DRW window. Like I said in the video, hold it as a rule of thumb if below 100 RP unless you’re very comfortable in you pressing RS will be a net gain and feel free to offload all RP towards the end of the fight if there are no other high value globals to press.

When do you think you will do a BIS for firelands? Because as of right now I’m very confused as to what it will look like. Is haste dead in firelands?

Haste is certainly not dead in firelands, but yes, will absolutely make BIS lists for firelands as well as what to use during progression.

what to do if we have only one death rune available? from my understanding we shouldnt use it on heart strike. Do we just keep it until we get rune strike proc or we wait for a blood rune CD, and use blood tap into death strike?

That’s right! Just keep it until you get a second RE proc or use blood tap if available.

Noob question: doesn’t using army at the start mess up your aggro? I feel like it always messes me up. Plus boss might be on army instead of you therefore less vengeance number? Am I stupid?

Army doesn’t taunt raid bosses, but yeah, don’t use it on dungeon bosses. Only boss you’d want to be careful with army on is nefarian because of the adds.

So it's a feature in the Details addon, here's how you get it working: - Type "/details options" - Go to options tab - Go to Broadcaster Tools subtab - Enable Action Tracker - Click on options for Action Tracker - Click the right image configuration - Tweak whatever other options you'd like I gotcha fam. My pain months ago is now your bliss ❤

Usually you'll want to combine it with dancing rune weapon (it'll end up casting 2x of each disease)

@@draanexle + it scales with vengeance. I find it only worth to outbreak on pull if you can't start the fight with 30 RP (only nef really)

I like HS because they only use one rune instead of 2 for more damage, they also increase dmg per each disease, unlike DS

DS is like double the dmg of HS and has inherent 30% crit. Might as well get the active mitigation portion for free and not be overcapped on gcds. But ofc, we’re free to play how we like ☺️

Can you please provide arguments and evidence that using Death Strike is always better than Heart Strike?

If you’re around 1420 haste, meaning you almost have something to use every gcd, it’s a dps loss to only be using hs. If it’s a single target fight ds is your biggest damage dealing spell. Otherwise hs would be better.

DS generally does double the dmg of HS, meaning you get the same damage from two globals in one. You’ll be properly overcapped on globals using your death runes on heart strikes, and using DS over HS will give you more active mitigation to allow you to do other more offensive swaps in your gearing. There is a world where HS is technically higher dps than DS if you have like 0 haste and no expertise, but the people with that gearing would not be people looking to do more dmg anyhow.
