I think the person wearing the fragrance impacts how its perceived a lot more than we might expect. Man, women, well dressed, casual, I think it all makes a difference. An analogy I like to use is: imagine a piece of music playing to a comedy scene, it will feel quirky and upbeat, now imagine that same piece of music playing in the background of a horror, suddenly it becomes dark and sinister. I think there are a lot of similarities. Image an expensive fragrance on a little kid running around the park playing with there friends, the smell might seem young and juvenile. That same smell on 55 year old well dressed gentleman might suddenly smell refined and classy. The smell never changed, but the canvas changed dramatically and that definitely has an impact on our perception of it.

Loving that setup. It looks slick. I surprisingly get the most compliments with my clean fresh fragrances. Azzaro Sport is almost a guarantee. Just some cheap no hype fragrance, just works damn near every time. I think it says more about where I live than the fragrance itself though. I live in a small town full of drug addicts and construction workers. So when I walk into the grocery store just smelling clean, sounds messed up, but it gets attention.
