The Sagrada Familia is a basilica, not a cathedral. A cathedral is the specific church of a bishop. A church can't just become a cathedral because it looks cool or is big

The Koln/Cologne Cathedral is an absolute masterpiece!! It is massive & amazing. Can’t believe it’s not #1 on this list!! (Maybe unpopular opinion but I also think the Duomo in Milan is more beautiful than Notre Dame. And yes, I have been to all 3)

I don't think the Sagrada Familia has the seat of the bishop. So it is a cathedral, it is a minor basilica. The Hagia Sofia was also a basilica.

Strange rating. Cologne cathedral is absent. But St. Basil cathedral in Moscow is presented as miracle #1. Actually it is not cathedral at all, just pictirius church. And legend about architects blinded by Tsar Ivan is lying fiction to impress tourists. Those architects constructed two more churges after that in Russia.

Sagrada Família is a Basilica minor, not a cathedral. The cathedral of Barcelona is Santa Creu i Santa Eulàlia. Hagia Sophia isn't a church any more, it is a mosque. The cathedral of Istanbul is St. George's Cathedral.
