As a rusher, yes. You probably will like him if you already have edge rushers which are able top stop the run and use him on obvious pass situation. The biggest risk to take him is because of his career ending injury where Washington didn't clear him to play football again, but in UCLA they cleared him. Some NFL teams will probably don't draft him because he already had a career ending injury and they don't wont to risk a first round pick on him.

@@wordnerd2005 You never know unless you pick it. All picks in the top 5 are high risk because of what you are asking of that play no matter the position they play. Value says take a QB because if you have to pay a player that much for being a top pick then you would want it to be the QB and if you strike gold then awesome but if not then usually you are right there again picking at the top of the draft so these things work themselves out. I think more so there are more bad organizations that "busts" and in the NFL there is not that much love for when you have to re-prove yourself again as you may not even get that one chance or if you do get one it may be very well short lived.

The Quarterback is an extension of the head coach and OC while he’s on the field. Command the huddle, protect the ball, read defenses, move your team down the field and make smart decisions…. But people wanna use this term as a negative…. Be a clown if you want to…. But you are so clueless when it comes to football if you think that being a, “Game Manager” is a bad thing… #GoBlue✊🏾💛💙

I'm not going to say JJ is going to be the next great one but when he was asked to get first downs on 3rd and long, there was no one better in the country. In the Rose Bowl game you saw that when the stakes were on the line pressure in his face against 5 star talent he dropped dimes to lead his team down the field to tie the game. Winners win at all costs and that is what JJ is a winner so he won't be a bust when you win games and he has the talent and intangibles. You won't have to fight with JJ like other QBs when you want to install your offence. That is big when it comes to team building down the road. Also not even Caleb can throw the intermediate ball on the run across his body like JJ can.
