Thanks so much!! I'm using the Mefoto Globetrotter (carbon variety). Had it for ages now! They also do a slightly smaller one called the Roadtripper, depending on the height/sturdiness you need

Is the battery charger for the Canon EOS RP batteries as well?

I believe it does! The Canon version covers all these I believe LP-E6, LP-E8, LP-E17 (think this is RP) - has a different attachment you can swap that’s included

When shooting 4K/8K and your using a cf express card and an sd card as redundancy, does the video still write to the cf express card even thought the speed of the sd is slower?

How come my phone can shoot 4K 60fps but a $3,500 USD camera needs a $1,000 USD CFexpress card to do the same?! Never understood that...

It is a bit odd! But it has a lot to do with the codec used and the info stored I believe. Basically not all 4k is the same unfortunately! It can have a high resolution but still not be the best quality. That's why we see phones (even a lot of them doing 8k these days) but in most cases the quality is still pretty poor compared to what you should be getting from your camera!
