#6: A good quality multi tool (Leatherman), worth it's weight in gold. If you're on a budget you can get a cheap one at Walmart for about $10.

Wet wipes, solar charger of some sort, bug repellent, sunscreen, extra socks and underwear, t shirts, no water soap and shampoo (you just wipe it off with a towel and can be used in a porta John or tent if needed) , snacks, a field shower system (amazon) never hurts depending on your unit, a big trash bag or two, extra pair of boots, airplane neck pillow, dip and smokes (even if you don't, it's worth it's weight in dollars) , a non army waterproof poncho (black or tan) will save your ass and your gear if your somewhere leaking or wet, small container of powder for Hotspots or socks,small bottle of hot sauce (you will thank me) , a boonies cap (if allowed) , can you guys think of anything else? (A good knife and a multi tool helps) oh also a feild chair, like a tripod type you can strap to your bag or hand carry around, sometimes it helps not sitting in the mud or dirt or if your in the TOC and there are no chairs

I think a great thing to bring is ibuprofen in case you cramp up or start to have muscle pains. Another thing to bring is allergy relief in case you have really strong allergies.

If you're bringing wet wipes; bring some ziploc bags for them. You're not guaranteed a trash bag readily available. Also great to store underwear and socks in. There are smaller solar powered batteries that can clip to your flc. Sour gummy snakes are great for rucking or land nav. Trash bags for your clothes. Keeps them dry during rain weather. I see some people bring reign or bang energy drinks to wake them up. Haven't done it myself, but I see the reason. Know how long you're gonna be out and pack accordingly. No reason to bring items that you're not gonna use, unless you need to have a certain weight for your rucks.

Toilet paper in a waterproof bag! Also, when I was in a mechanized unit it was much easier to bring comfort items. When I was in the 82d Airborne it was basically toilet paper in a waterproof bag, and maybe some type of jerky, since we had to carry EVERYTHING on our backs for three to five days at a time. It depends on the type of unit. I really enjoy your videos! Keep up the good work!

I took a sketchpad for entertainment.. But most of our entertainment was making Tarantulas and Scorpions fight each other. Also, I poked a hole in and old 1qt Canteen and I would take a 5Gallon jug of water left in the sun (El Paso) and attach them for a nice hot shower at the end of the day. Makeshift showers was a platoon thing for us.. we even once had a full on water pump that pumped water out of a Drum.. but it would knock out the generator it was hooked up to all the time so we had to stop using it.

Bring a roll of duct tap. Desitin works great too for rashes and chaffing and to prevent them . An extra roll of toilet paper, Chem Lights, wrist watch .Pocket knife or multi tool Gerber or Leatherman.
