Communication is essential when you're working with a Virtual Assistant on the other side of the world. You need to be able to chat with your VA, delegate tasks, share files, and much more in order to have a positive experience with outsourcing.
Fortunately, there are hundreds of tools available to make communication a breeze. And over the years, I've tried most of those tools.
In this video, I describe my 5 favorite tools that I use every single day to manage projects, delegate tasks, and communication with my virtual assistants.
Wanna know the best part?
All of these tools that I describe in the video are completely free.
Here's the full list of tools for your reference:
Asana: This is a great tool for managing projects, delegating tasks, sharing files, and communicating with your virtual assistant. If you were to get one of the 5 tools that I mention, this would be the one. Get Asana here - asana.com/
Screencast-O-Matic: This tool allows you to create high quality videos and screen recordings, which is super helpful when you're training your VA or delegating tasks. Get Screencast-O-Matic here - screencast-o-matic.com/refer/...

Google Hangouts: This tool helps you communicate with your virtual assistant. You can do video calls, phone calls or live chats with your VA using Google Hangouts. I personally, have my VA's send me a chat message on Google Hangouts as soon as they start their work day and I ask them to stay logged in the entire day - just in case something urgent comes up. Get Google Hangouts here: hangouts.google.com/
Grammarly: This is a tool that I ask all of my virtual assistants to download as soon as they are hired. Grammarly scans everything your VA types and it highlights any grammar or spelling mistakes so that their communications with you are crystal clear. Side note: I recommend that everybody get this tool, even if English IS your first language. Get Grammarly here: www.grammarly.com/
LastPass: This is a password management tool that allows you to give your virtual assistant access to your online accounts (i.e. website access, social media pages, etc) without actually sharing your password. For this, you'll both need to sign up for a Free LastPass account. Then you'll save all of your Passwords to LastPass' encrypted password vault. From there, you will be able to share access to select sites with your VA. Get LastPass here: lastpass.com/f?37146272
