I really love these pieces…especially the one you made out of the larger and small rings. Very unique! I have found the small rings but not the other larger rings two to a pack. Jenny, Awesome ideas and everything you made as usual is beautiful! My Dollar Tree finally has all the beachy wooden items such as your coral plaque and mermaid but now they are behind of getting these rings. When we moved to the house I grew up in most of my life there were funky curtains o. The living room and dining room, a 60s Brady Bunch print and at the top were at least 70 of these wooden rings fed onto the curtain rod. Each one was stained and had an Eye Hook screwed I yo each ring. Within. A few months the drapes came down and my mom came into my room and said, "Kerry, can you use these for crafts?" I looked down into the large metal coffee can and it was like Christmas morning I was so excited for all these wooden rings. My mom took me to the fabric store to buy counter cross stitch fabric and embroidery thread and I sewed little pitchers and glued them to the back, tied little robins around the screw eyes. I bought fabric with shell prints and glued mini shells from the Jersey shore around them. I was only 9 but my mind and hands were always creating cool things out of odd and end things. Jenny, take a couple of rings and glue photos of your son's to the back and hang them on your wall singley or in a cool design like your coasters and hand on the wall. All my rings were used up as gifts and given away but while packing up my mom's house I found a few stragglers and they are packed someplace. I love how you designed the one bottle but how about making another like that for cotton balls or mini soaps in your bathroom. Paint the ring white and on a slant use red sharpie marker and make a life vest or paint a blue ring and hang one of the wooden tiny Dollar Tree anchors painted red in the middle. How cool would that be. Wow, I sure hope my Dollar Tree gets them but if you go to a curtain shop for made to order drapes, you can but the rings there in bulk. I would love a ring creation with a Dollar Tree mirror in the middle. I am into mirrors lately as they lend extra light to a tiny room such as my home. Thank you again for awesome ideas!
