That was the best video I've seen about the surron myths. Drug dealers and gangs. That's funny as hell mate. I've been commuting since 2020 road and dirt. Only been pulled over because the police thought I blew the light turning because the stock brake light doesn't light up when you press the lever but I used my hand signal to brake. He let me go. I think he just wanted to pass the time and check out the surron. I've put a lot of upgrades on since 2020.

Haha I washed the bike the day before this ride and forgot to put my wedge back in. One of the down sides to the extended battery lid is that it doesn’t hold the battery as tight!!

It's not illegal to ride off-road without the land owners permission. It's just a civil matter (police can't do anything even if some random calls them) apart from enforce a tresspass which needs a no-tresspassing sign or someone who actually is responsible for the land... aka, not the random). Realistically, you won't encounter an owner. I ride my EUC in a bunch of places, but one spot (especially around this time) you encounter farm hands or the farmer himself in a tractor. A couple years ago we had a bit of a confrontation, but after being all polite to him he was fine with what I was doing (not riding in crop fields, if I did it was on his premade tracks and not tearing up the edges where I do ride). Now I see them a lot and have 0 issues.

I've had an LBX 2 years now. The seat is absolute junk, extremely uncomfortable for anything over 5 minutes. But, since I've gone to great lengths to LOWER my ride height, upgrading the seat would add a couple inches to height that I can't afford. Us older guys with lots of creaking injuries can't swing our legs over most dirt-bikes, which is specifically why I bought an LBX. The other big change I'd like to see is a 2 speed gear-box. HI for road speeds and LOW for off road, as only having one speed is a huge compromise, really sucking the battery down fast at road speeds. I have the off-road version in the US, but made it street-legal with brake-light, mirror and DOT approved tires. Plated and insured.

i noticed your battery shakes alot bro, try jam a old sock intbeen battery and frame or get a battery wedge, i had a wedge but it fell out so socks the way foward for me now

Great video! Although just incase you get in a situation in the future bro just know this: you don’t need the land owners permission to ride on private property as trespass in the uk is not a criminal offence therefore the police have no jurisdiction over you being there. Its a civil matter same as somebody parking on your driveway. So you are fine until the owner approaches and asks you to leave. After this point I’d suggest leaving incase your local authorities are having a slow day in the office because they could try to do you for a section 59 if they can show how you were causing distress to public, on an electric bike this is hard for them haha - which is against the bike and basically a slap on the wrist (just don’t get a second in 6 months or its a hefty fine to get your bike back £200) anyway but the police are unable to do anything unless they can show you caused loss to earnings ect. Stick to the unused and particularly poorly maintained fields and privately owned property, stay off crops and you should be golden 👍🏻 Top video brother💪🏼
