Really enjoy your videos, could you discuss noise sensitivity in dogs, especially in dogs around one year. I would love to hear your advice

Thank you for this video. Focus is crucial in modifying behavior, but it takes time for a dog to learn to focus for duration. Same with humans. It is mentally exhausting which is a good thing. So we start with very short training sessions and we continue with training whenever we are working the dog, EXCEPT we have to have play time with the dog. You are so right, I have seen it over and over, allowing dogs to make mistakes and not being averse to them for it works. They get it and it promotes engagement. My thoughts, wonderful video. Thank you.

I use the pause when my dog tries to skip a step trying to get to reward. I have many sounds and a few words to let him know. Some are even in different settings. A walk or formal training. He does not take this as bad but like information and we readjust accordingly. We have a strong communication system between us. I also understand him and what he is saying to me.

Is there more information about the #1 tip? You say to communicate the error effectively to the dog. How is that done? Is this tip/technique in alignment with errorless learning? Or is it contrary to it?
