I had to put the Zeta on Crex special when I saw Ahnald get absolutely dunked on GAC by it. IIR it was the first rounds of GAC he was available in and was 3v3. Ahnald had to kill Fives has he couldn't get around the taunt, Rex executed one of his character, Crex sniped another one, which resetted Aerial Assault for another quick execute. That was so goddamn awesome I just had to apply the zeta 😂

As someone who tried to take out a Mara Jade Omicron team in TW with an SLKR that didn't have Press the Advantage, all I gotta say is "You think the zeta is worthless until you get slowly but surely stalled out by Mara Jade."

There is point of Kylo being immune to stagger. If only he could gain +100% stats from this debuff, that would change everything. But in no zeta case it would be awful to run circles of staggering SLKR and not allow him to do his turn. Also, Kylo can't be marked with this zeta, so there is some profit

I get your point but I’ve found Crex’s special zeta really useful. Pretty much every battle I’m able to reset all my cooldowns like twice per battle. It’s definitely more of a luxury than anything but I still think it’s worth it if you can afford it. Not to mention clones in 3v3, where you can get back to back Aerial Advantages

Funny enough, the SLKR Zeta makes the "Flawless Victory" feat on the current GC (Takonda: Ewok) a little easier because he can't be deathmarked. Though that's pretty niche usage for a zeta.

Wouldn't you want him deathmarked since he's immune to max health damage and really tanky due to being a GL?

Better than one of your other characters, but he can still get burnt down on tier 10. It would probably be a race to full ultimate, or hoping they split between him and KRU's taunt. Doable, but a bit more RNG driven. With his Zeta, I had 3 Ewoks down before deathmark landed on anybody on my side. For comparison I just tried it with Rey - successfully, but they triggered her damage immunity pretty fast, and probably would have got her if her ult hadn't been ready as well. My SLKR would have been in the red with that same amount of damage, and probably wouldn't have had his ult ready yet to save him. But like I said, pretty niche. I certainly wouldn't suggest someone get the zeta just for this one GC mechanic.

Interesting video. These are all toons which are too new for me (except slkr) so I'll keep them in mind for the future. Do you think mothma's zetas are worth applying? I keep hearing how great she used to be. Is she still worth it?

MM is hard, because if you want to use her, you need the zetas. It would depend on your overall roster needs. but if you have her R5 and need a team I would apply them

Another example of a new character's zeta you shouldn't really apply is Kelleran Beq's second special where the zeta adds +15% true damage based on protection (20% true damage based on protection). That 20% true damage based on protection is not going to change a whole lot considering you already have Anakin as your main damage dealer with stacks of padawan lessons and the true damage from the special is not a whole lot either so I would recommend skipping that zeta.

The problem with your analysis about scout trooper is that he was designed as the 5th member of the OG Moff Gideon team. He allows you to activate Moff Gideons zeta ability on his leadership while only using imperial remnants. You can have your opinions on whether that is good, in both damage output and taking dark trooper away from Veers troopers, but at least be accurate on your assessment. We also happened to get DTMG around the same time so I can see why you would think it was designed around him though.

Is it a home run zeta, of course not, but it is not a garbage zeta either.

Sure, the video was just trying to point out which ones are skippable amongst new characters. There's a certain twist you can play on pretty much any zeta to remove the "garbage" title

I know it's tied to a Datacron, but then DT Moff Gideon Unique Zeta actually has a good deal of use currently, he gets stacks of Insight with it from allies using special abilities, so at least for a few months he'll be getting plenty of Insight outside of the TW Omicron.

End game player here (almost 11mil GP). Zetas are easy enough to put everywhere, it's omicrons are a problem to get. Captain Rex Zeta is not useless as the reset might help in GAC where every small detail counts in Kyber 1,2. SLKR needs all of his zetas. In general Zetas are no longer the game changer they were. It's all about relic level, speed, datacrons and omicrons to some degree.

I typically go for zeta'ing teams for maximum effeluciency. My shaak troopers all have Zetas. Same goes with GG. I get zetas regardless of their usefulness because i want to make the most out of my team. That includes onicrons, though i usually save onicrons for good teams, like geos, GG, Adrad, or phoenix+rebel Crex Though currebtly i joined a new guild because my okd one became too strict, luckily dnough u already have a decent ammount of teams.

The thing with SLKR (and GLs in general) is that OCD pretty much dictates that you have to give them all 6 zetas. Or else it looks bad and it screams "poor" when someone reviews your account. A GL with just 5 Zetas looks bad in the character screen.

You can do a video about this for separatists ships and it's crazy how many contraddictions they have, especially in the zetas. To cite one, vulture respawns if you kill it while you have malevolence, but hyena always taunts when vulture gets hit. Whaaat?

That second zeta on rex seems situational but it really can be quite a game changer in my experience(mostly in conquest). It does change how I make some choices during combat. It probably isn't as useful with the team on defence though, which is where I usually use them in tw and 5v5 gac. Yeah I probably should have skipped it
