The Ten Most Important Teams That Everyone NEEDS in SWGOH

SWGOH has tons of teams, and it is hard to know which ones you really need to have! These 10 teams (or ideas of teams) are the ones you need to make sure you add to your roster.

The 501st team is also important because together with Old Rex and BB Echo it can take out Jabba pretty well.

I have seen it done with Rex Lead Crex, Arc, Tech and BB Echo. So i think there are different versions of this team that can beat Jabba

Phoenix can do the same thing without destroying 3 different teams - that clones team is impressive but it destroys GAS, BB, and Phoenix

​@songeta Talking of destroying teams, I find having Echo as the 5th with JMK against Jabba is one of the best cases of this in 5v5 settings (thanks for all the showcases of that team!)

Zori is the most underrated character that should be included, half of the team is either in Shops, Admiral Peitt is farmed with (Hero) Poe and You can probably build a Iden versio team with Snow Trooper and (Hero) Finn with it. This is probably the best early game comp that everyone should have in the rosters

I mean she definitely is an amazing character! I just don't like going for those other resistance early. Might change once she is accelerated

CLS has been super clutch for me it's just such a versatile team most of the stuff you fight you can just hit Auto awesome pretty much everywhere but has carried me earlier this year through Conquest

I think geos should be there, they are a GREAT early game team and also they are needed to get wat. Good g12 geos will let you in a biggish guild. Great work here!

The Revans may have lost their position of prominent meta but they are so good and usable in so many other ways, teams, places and events. Still some of my favorites to use while playing.

@@songeta I hate them, because they were when the game truly became pay to win stupid OP broken, 400 USD to unlock some pixels and if you didn't have him you were plum screwed. . . Revan set the tone for the long and dark power creep and insane costs. That's actually when I quit, when the milf and Revan came out. I have been back part time here and there, but never fulltime, and peeked in today after another year break, looks like I am just wasting my time playing this stupid game lol

Yes, all the Inquisitors ARE accelerated. I just got them all farmed up to 7* like 2 months ago because they were accelerated.

i'm playing a Nihilus, opress, vader, but i miss 2 more sith, which would fit in? (having nihilus or vader as lead) im lvl 59 still btw, atm i throw in a droideka and imp-trooper just for damage purpose cuz i have both maxed out and modded up.

Sith trio with Savage is also a pretty darn powerful team. In GAC, they need a GL to beat, but even outside, they are pretty strong! Great list!

When it comes to farming inquisitors, the game has given me them at 6 stars for free so far, a couple at 7 stars, I've never farmed for them outside of their introduction events. Nowhere near getting the the two needed to make them good though, so no rush.

Absolutely for most! Reva might take time, and same with GAS/Malak, but I like getting well rounded rosters before chasing GL’s.

Really? The Sith Triumvirate are relevant at that level? They are my main dark side squad, but a bunch of people I have asked have said they are pretty crap outside of GAC. Is Sion also good at that level, or is he not powerful enough even with the synergy?

I am just getting back into GoH, i am having such a hard time finding the resources i need to get my first g13 character (I'm going for Vader since he's my highest). What are the best ways to get resources without having to spend money?

It’s not easy, but the first thing is get into a solid guild. Also look for my G13 farming video and other resource farming videos

What’s the absolute best dash team? I have no scoundrels built up so I’m not using any of them anywhere else. I’m thinking something with Dash and vandor chewie (obviously) but idk who to fill the other 3 out with between kuiil and IG, BAM, L3 and Nest. I’m not 4 mil yet so no CAT but I am close (3.6) so maybe with and without CAT would be helpful? Thank you! (I’m unlocking starkiller and would like to have a team for dash)

Not totally sure - I think probably L3 is a lock, but other than her you can have any 2 of BAM, Nest, Hondo, or IG-11 and Kuill (only together). Couldn't say!

Personally I’d recommend Dash, Vandor Chewie/Han, L3, and either Young Lando or Qi’ra- fairly interchangeable, I prefer qi tho

Palps with darth vader, mara, darth revan and fallen bastila was my main for so long before i got aphra. Jedi wise, working towards JKL, so far I'm using bastila as leader with revan, yoda, hermit yoda and bindo. It seems to work will for defense. Yeah darth revan seems better than malgus, I've easily destroy malgus teams, darth revan teams are far more difficult.

When is your roster rdy for rote....our a guild that is doing rote....my GP 4.6 mil but i have no core teams ...i chase sklr executor rey jabba......i bought ls package for rey.......but honestly people say my roster is solid .. but i dont feel it is at all.... I look at rosters 2.9 above that have better line up then i do .. chacters wise....but ship wise i farm all the time even if i dont need the ship atm ....(could be hurting me?) But back to inquisitors?? My guild is 372 mil... We heavy focused on ls and ds Geo events.....rote isnt really our concern .. i would like it to be cause rewards...but when is roster every rdy besides farming inquisitors....btw bookmarked all the teams..ty again great video

The inquisitors are all accelerated farm , currently farming jml ticket next farm is inquisitor so lucky i already have half the kyros ready for them but i m behind on shards 😂

I don't think Reva Inquisitors belongs here. Huge struggle to unlock her, and without Reva it's way weaker, and super expensive. And while they are all accelerated, Unlocking GI alone takes like 1800 Kyrotech each

I was more thinking about Zorii that belongs to that spot, I see no Zorii’s in my GAC but me, and it absolutely destroys my opponent. She’s an easy target to get and most of the team is in shops, Hero Poe is with Admiral. Zorii is a underrated team and many people should have it on their rosters 🙏

Me personally I like starck over range trooper on my imperials

Range gives buffs (for turn meter) and his Unique gives a 50% chance for any Basic attack to call another trooper to assist. He's objectively superior to Starck.

Everyone always gets mad at me when I say C3P0 doesn't have to be with CLS and they say "but the exposes help so much" and then when I tell them that you can put him under Mon Mothma to get 4 exposes per turn instead of just 3 and apparently that makes me dumb lol

@ClaytonBigsby93 Mine is Relic 8, Health & Offense Mods, Offense Primaries for arrow, triangle, & cross. Speed, offense, crit chance secondaries. Protection Circle, make him as fast and as much damage as you can. mine does 8000 damage, 71% CC and almost 300 speed. WIth all the TM gain and fast speed his damage output is higher than JKL over the course of a battle.

New Phoenix are definitely not a team everyone needs. They're good, but they're not GAS-level by any stretch, frankly any team that dies to Tuskens doesn't belong on a "top 10 teams" list.

Early game is a broad term to describe like below 3 million GP - this game is extremely long and barely any of it takes place before level 85!

@@songeta I know. It was a jest! Had I known I might have opted for hyperdrive, which I still might do once I hit 85 unless I see a video suggesting against that (have not checked). I do have 7* Yoda and 5* palp. My main teams are Galactic Republic Jedi with BS lead for the protection, all 7*. I also have imps with an Iden lead at 6* minimum. Palp will need to be built up. He's just activated for me so far and I stopped Gideon early on since he wasn't doing it for me back then.
