Hi James. :) I'm Korean who loves your playing very much. First of all, i'm not good in English so bear with me please. I've been learning fingerstyle guitar since April, 2017. But men, it's so hard to play. I was not used to music person, but i always want to feel musician's enjoyment. So i decided to learn to how to play guitar, and i watched several guitar playing on KZbin. Some people's playing was so skillful and entertaining but it's very hard to feel touched. However your playing is so touching, and i can feel your true honesty. To tell the truth, i have a sort of depression. But everytime i listen to your playing, i feel calm, peace, hope. Thanks James. You made me keep alive when i'm tired. I will always keep my finger crossed for you. And someday i will play like you and give hope to others just like you did. I'm looking forward to seeing your next video. Thanks :)

Heyyy Friend. I am a UK physician and a Nigerian. But I want to tell you to try Jesus. The Joy he lavishes on your spirit and soul despite all your trials is immeasurable. Unbelievable. Before you accept Jesus genuinly , if you are severely depressed, I will advise you to see a Doctor for antidepressants .but when you accept Jesus and learn to walk with him with a pure heart , I can bet you will likely not need them( antidepressants) again after a while
@johny19685 жыл бұрын
That was such a honest pure comment. You're so right James's playing is just different, so much more peaceful and calm as you say, rather than the other musicians who try and fit as much talent as possible into a piece. Best of luck man, I hope you get to that level of playing you wish for.

Nivole bianche has been one of my favourites ever since my first girlfriend showed me it in highschool. Damn I learned it on piano and forgot about it. My aunt showed me it the other day, and at which point I hunted down and incomplete tab and in filled in the blanks myself. To my plesent surprise I woke yesterday to find out that the best of the best has made a tab for one of my all time pieces. Thanks James.

It's crazy how Johnny Cash's version of Hurt overshadows the original. He really made that song his own.
@incognitotorpedo424 жыл бұрын
Like Hendrix with Watchtower. Trent Reznor talked about the first time he heard Cash's version, and he knew the song wasn't his anymore.
@charliedeguil14154 жыл бұрын
No way it overshadows the original, there's way more emotion in the original and the meaning of the song hits harder imo.
@swervature4 жыл бұрын
@@charliedeguil1415 -- Agreed. "The Downward Spiral" is the destruction of a man played out over 14 songs, culminating in his suicide note ("Hurt"). I've seen NIN 5x since the release of "Hurt", and it has brought Trent to tears performing it every tine. I read in an interview with Trent once that this is a version of an actual suicide note he wrote.
@seth80564 жыл бұрын
Charlie Deguil I mean you can say the original meant more to you, but cash’s version undoubtedly does overshadow it. I’d venture to guess that alot of people don’t even realize it’s a cover, I certainly didn’t when I was younger
@shanemiller20464 жыл бұрын
OP , JC is just singing someone elses words. Albeit , he does a good job... But it is Trents song. Johnny shoulda , woulda , coulda wrote his own masterpiece instead of swinging off someone elses nutsack.
