Lonis is my first (real) deck and I absolutely love it! It does certainly do the Simic thing of “I draw half my deck. Responses?” But in a unique way, and finding ways to abuse artifact tokens in a way that also helps your creature synergies is just so fun.

My first set ever was shadows over innistrad and in one of the packs I found Tamiyo's journal and since then I always wanted to build a clue deck, then I discovered edh and it was the perfect format for me and with it came modern horizons so it was love at first sight, it took a lot of guides and card searching for me to build a deck but I've never had a chance to play with it so hearing from you that it is a fun commander to play with makes me want to play with it even more

Personally, I think Xira, the Golden Sting is underrated in terms of fun value. If you can get those egg counters on a bunch of creatures (they don’t even have to be your own) and then board wipe, you get an army of bees *and* you draw half your deck. Sure, having it trigger only when she attacks is a bit rough - or it would be, if she wasn’t in Red, with access to all sorts of extra combat spells! She’s got insane potential for fun, but she gets overlooked cuz she isn’t some insane level 10 powerhouse.

Jan Jansen is really fun and is quite powerful as well. It's a mix between Breya and Magda and there's a lot of combo to slot in this deck plus it's really good at grinding value over time in long games. It's really interesting and fun

Can personally attest to how fun Tana+Sakashima turbo mass polymorph is. Ramp them out, attack two players, make a bunch of tokens, then polymorph your entire board into a field of gigantic monsters. Season with extra combats, pump/unblockable spells and control and tempo cards and you've got a mighty meaty gumbo brewin.

I actually am trying to build Jan Jan. I once went to local commander game night and this was when new cappena had just came out. The guy brought beam town bullies and had thornbite staff on it and had a creature that just blew itself up and us with it infinitely on our turns, thankfully I had instant artifact removal as well though and just let him kill my first opponent for me on accident when I didn’t realize it was coming for me next.

Ob Nixilis the Fallen is also fun, MonoBlack landfall. Though it's also really tempting to just drop in a sanguine bond and exquisite blood combo with a citadel/top/aetherflux combo but hey if you're not swinging what else are you going to do after you play all your lands?

Ah, Jan Jansen. I really, really am not a fan of him. One of my guys friends used to run him, but almost every Jansen deck goes into solitaire and takes quite a bit. It's always quite annoying, but it's hard to deny he's good.
