the reason random blocks kept on exploding is probably because when you were hooking the blocks the texture of the block changes and the mod maker probably just made it so that whenever a block updates it has the chance to explode. oh and btw you need to sign your lease agreement. at 7:12, the lead ore is not what blew up. it was the pot. and since a pot encompasses 4 blocks, it was actually a one in 5 chance to blow up. since you were also going to destroy the lead. it would jump to a one in 4 chance. you took a 25% chance to instantly die just to mine one lead block.

Oh hey you came back to it lol. The item is for the other “mode” the mod has where the mine positions are determined during world gen. If I remember correctly I used the method for when tiles break, which actually gets called when mining a tile at all (regardless of if it breaks), and presumably when a tile updates at all (so grappling? But I guess not placing tiles because that updates the texture too last I checked?) idk, it’s weird lol.

So I think I found out what happened at 7:32 When you landed, you landed mostly on the solid block, but the side of your character slightly clipped into the partial block on your left. This caused some pixels to pop out, and this likely caused a block "update", which is what this mod seems to be detecting. That block was updated, triggering the explosion, which also makes sense because that's where the explosion is centered on your screen Hope that helps if you ever play again, or at the very least I hope it helps anyone else that will play this crazy mod!
