my favorite terraria server experience was when i was joining servers and got banned for one because i kept drowning outside of water (i was wearing a fish bowl). the listed reason was "hax" i put in a ban appeal on the site and introduced myself saying it was pretty funny, my appeal was rejected and i even got entirely hardware banned from their website i check in on them like four years later and i was still banned from seeing their website but the new staff there unbanned me

Penguin was basically an attempt to make a minecraft style server in Terraria. And it's pretty much the only real server with any actual notable community tbh. Most other servers are weird. Penguin has some cool stuff but honestly. The best thing on there are the Parkour stuff. Basically allows you to learn terraria Parkour and makes you better at movement. Would be goated if they had a similar thing for golf It's really a shame the MMO style servers all died cause they were probably the most unique terraria servers.
