5 ON A JOYRIDE (EPISODE 2) - SAN FRANCISCO NIGHT.

On the 2nd episode of 5 on a joyride I decided to do a quick ride to SF and show y'all a couple of nice views and roads!

Phoenix recently allowed lane splitting, and I occasionally partake aloft my trusty RE INT650 with GIVI side cases. Imagine I've jarred a few people from their otherwise hypnotic states just missing their mirror by millimeters. Luckily trail bicycling and road racing have sharpened my balance and reactions for doing so. I don't like doing it, but in 100+ degree heat in the summer commuting to work F'ck waiting twice for a traffic light because traffic is backed up! 2:05 that MR2 with T-Top is a dream!

I can't blame you for doing it! It's a great commute time killer haha. I had to google what the acronym RE means, them Royal Enfields look lovely! Maybe I'll pick one up one day, I need to experience the café racer style bikes. 🔥

Hell yea! I need to visit the East Coast and cruise on a motorcycle one day. The closest I've been on a motorcycle there was a city bicycle in NYC haha.

Last time I was in San Francisco on my bike was in 2022, LA has been home (to me) for the past six years. All these moments bring back so many memories. My first apartment was a little shoebox off Grant in Chinatown and my dad used to take me to Giants games when it was still Pac Bell park. I'm hopeful that the 1 around Big Sur reopens in a reasonable timeframe and I can take my swingarm chop the scenic way up. Thanks for sharing these snippets and creating so much nostalgia for me.

Hell yea! Hoping you find your bike man! My first bike was a Honda Shadow then I found a running sportster for $500!! Good deals are out there, just need to keep searching haha. Best of luck to you 🤟

Cali and yep they allow splitting. In regular 5PM go-home traffic when cars at a standstill on the interstate they FLY between cars and you know it's just going to take one open door and it's carnage! ps more vlogs around the city if you like

I've been to several close calls and actually been hit once when splitting lanes, it sucks. Moral of the story, do not pick fights with cars, I'm 0-2 right now 😅🤣 Will definitely post more spots in the City! There's a couple of hidden gems out here.

Enjoyed the video. I was just in Frisco a week ago. I rode my bike from LA up the coast and then crossed the Golden Gate Bridge on a little swing arm chopper that I put together which has always been a dream of mine (to cross the bridge on a motorcycle). Frisco was cool. Thanks for showing us around your side of the state.

NC rider. There's no laws against it, but it's frowned upon and pretty sure cops will pull you over if you do so to avoid all that altogether, barely no one lane splits, that I've seen.

I remember I rode out to Nevada and had to constantly remind myself that it's not cool to lane split there (maybe I'm wrong). But the sizzling weather made me keep splitting them lanes during traffic haha.
