Mtn gear had the mountain bipod for 380$ at Christmas. Got one. I have been using it now for a month, coyote hunting. Great bipod. Really thought out product. MDT is smart picking this up.

I’m curious as to the strategy behind not offering these with a swivel stud quick attachment? I don’t follow the market that much, but I thought a lot of current and especially older hunting rifles have swivel studs, but not picatinny or arca rails? Will MDT offer a lightweight adapter for a swivel stud?

Are these going to be strong enough to “push” forward in the prone position? I tend to put a decent amount of pressure on my bipod to stabilize while shooting.
