Appreciate the videos Coach, I follow your videos extensively. I installed this with my U14 AAU team and we were unstoppable. Won our last 4 tournaments. Even played a couple of teams we've played in other tournaments and they knew what was coming. I actually made it a primary fast break offense. Thanks again.

I purchased Coach Matt's PDF on the Circle Motion Continuity Offense. One of the most thorough and detailed explanations of a offense that I have studied. His communication is top notch and is very responsive to any email questions that I have.

the curl screen and cut to basket has to be one of the most effective ways to get layups, especially in high school.

This is such a nice regular play that my kids can do. Not only it's simple but also the motion is very fluid no matter how the defense reacts. GREAT PLAY.

Coach is there any way you have breakdown drills for your circle offense
@terryross66476 жыл бұрын
Really good stuff.

Hey Coach, is there anyway you could send me any info you have on this offense? Like breakdown drills, how you can run it with 4 out 1 in. Anything would help! Thanks

Coach I’m a subscriber to your channel. I love your videos. Which offense is your go too? Ball screen motion or Circle motion. I don’t have a true back to your basket post this upcoming season.

Thanks chad. I used euro ball screen my first 4 years of coaching and then switched to circle motion for the last 5. I love love love circle motion

how would you run circle vs a 2-3 zone?
@MattHackenberg Жыл бұрын
Hey coach!!! The adjustment is to have the rim cutter Sit in the middle on their cut instead of finishing at the rim. Everyone else performed their normal roles. I like it against 3-2, but preferred zone specific concepts for a 2-3. Small tweak, more options

Can you or has anyone ran this with more traditional post? Post who aren’t the best out side shots but screen and roll well?
@MattHackenberg2 жыл бұрын
I have. As long as they can reverse the ball they won’t hurt the offense. I like players like that as the butt cutter, and the down screener in this offense
@RyanHooper-hm9xn Жыл бұрын
Have you ever had issue on the Butt Screen where the screener gets called for a moving screen for whatever reason? Worried about my middle schoolers getting called for it. Thanks!
@MattHackenberg Жыл бұрын
Honestly no we haven’t
@deandrepage10487 жыл бұрын
I would only use this with my Small Ball unit, Stretch-4 (3-point Specialist) is kind of disturbing for me having a TRADITIONAL center standing all alone in that corner.

What do you when you have 4 guards and 1 big that can jump out the gym but struggles to shoot? We are currently working on developing his outside game. I can see opposing defenses staying in the paint when guarding our post out on the perimeter.

Run a 4 around 1 or a 4 out 1 in Offense. Try Swing or Princeton or Triangle. Or any other offense that let's your Big be a Big ffs. Run plays that fit the personnel. EASY Question.
@joshpickett72914 жыл бұрын
This is a problem for a lot of teams with a big that is unable to shoot. We call it a "monster" by the defense. We will sink our "big" defender into the paint and try to disrupt any drives allowing the big to get wide open shots. What we do offensively is called the "Draymond Rule". The warriors use Draymond Green in a lot of dribble hand off action because he is not usually guarded very tightly. This allows for his shooters to get open. Maybe consider teaching your big how to effectively utilize a dribble hand off to get his shooters open and also how to roll off of the hand off to be a threat at the rim.
