I bought 3 MCD shares for $90 when I was a junior in high school, about 15-16 years old. I'm 23-24 now, and they currently sits at +$195. I have DRIP'd all of my dividend payments, still have not made a whole share but I seen my dividend payments go from $0.76 a share to I think $1.15, but I know over a dollar. Half the time to invest in a company just use common sense. When push comes to shove and people can't eat steak, they go to MCD's

One thing about passive income is that it’s never 100% passive, there will always need to be some form of work in order to maintain your passive income. Otherwise if you dwell on it too long it will start declining over time from failure of maintenance. 🤔

I use the dividend paying stocks more than any other passive income strategy. Also, it makes sense to buy at least ten shares because after the commission is factored into the cost per share basis, you would end up getting a lower cost per share basis because (share price + commission)/number of shares determines your cost basis.

Making about $500 a month ($6000 a year) from dividends is going to require well north of $100,000 in stock investment principal. S&P 500 type companies pay around 2 % in dividends; there are other stocks that pay higher-- and some that pay monthly dividends not just every 3-months, but these other types of stock investments are much more riskier. Having said that, stock investing is some of the ultimate passive investing-- you literally don't have to even lift your fingers, except when you put in the buy and sell orders at your online brokerage lol.

@@miriamhavard7621 In short, Amazon FBA requires a lot of understanding of how sales, fees, and customs work. There will be some language barrier communicating with suppliers in China. There is a lot of upfront fees you have to pay and ultimately you have to be willing to lose hundreds to thousands of $$$. Its a risk and a gamble, with high risks/ rewards. If you're not the gambling type, or lack patience, then Amazon isn't for you. It took me about 3 months before I launch my first product and another 2-4 weeks before I see any consistent sales and payments from Amazon.

But what if your country does not support you buying houses or real estate so that you later can rent it out? I have done my research but renting out is incredebly hard, the banks won't support you, you can't charge more for the rent than what you are actually paying yourself so you go 0 profit and you can't rent out for more than a year. Man Sweden sucks, passive income is unheard of here besides stock market.

What online surveys can I go to to make extra money? Some I go to and you have to get 10000 points to equal .50 cents 😕... I want to know where are the good surveys where you can actually get some cash.

If you want to not pay anything while buying and selling stocks, then Robinhood might be the app for you. To start at least. If you want to save money and have someone invest for you then maybe the Acorn app is for you

Be careful when you are renting your property for less than $1000/mo. You get all kinds of people with issues. I wouldn't rent out anything less than $2000/mo. If you can't buy a property that'll rent that high? don't get into real estate investment. Don't. You'll appreciate me.
