Yup, it's definitely important to know what type of jewelry you like instead of getting sucked into trends or buying pieces simply because they're "classics." For example, I don't like stud earrings. They're uncomfortable to me since I tend to wear my earrings while I'm sleeping, and I prefer the look of hoops. I wear hoops every single day. Lately all gold or diamond jewelry has been what's popular, but I love gemstone rings! There are so many beautiful gems and it's fun to have a pop of color. And I'm with you on stacking rings: I prefer to wear one chunky ring over stacking a bunch of thin rings together. I'm picky when it comes to pendants because I don't like ones that are too small but bigger pendants tend to be pricey.
