How does one ignore the political landscape at large, bypass the moral obligations of a state service and live one's best life? You heard it here folks.

@@jared4034 The progressive left has a fetish for these 'manly' SEAL types who cross over. Jocko, etc. As Haidt has pointed out, the left is the feminine/yin, so when a masculine/yang comes along who seems progressive/trustworthy, they melt into a puddle. It's gross.

Is this an old recording? When was this originally recorded?
@c3bhm9 ай бұрын
The guest says they are both living in Encinitas, so that would seem to indicate it's old. As I understand it, Daniel is now living in Asheville NC...?

@@c3bhm Yes, I think you're right. Daniel's voice sounds younger here. And I thought he'd been distancing himself from the whole pitching supplements thing.

to be regulated
@c3bhm9 ай бұрын
@@PeripheralWisdom "Well-regulated" meant "in good working order" in the standard English of the late 1700's. Look it up - don't be lazy. It's 100% confirmed by historians, and you'll find that is the case with a 2 minute google search. So in the context of the 2nd Amendment, "regulated" does NOT mean 'constrained by governmental policies/laws/legislation' as we today use that word. An example of how it was used back then would be to say that a grandfather-clock is "well regulated" if it is set to the correct time, with properly wound springs, and well-oiled gears. A citizen-militia needs to be armed, at the very least, to be in good working order, since it is an informal combat infantry. Besides, how in the world are you going to justify "regulating" a right in the Bill of Rights if we can't even demand voter ID for vote-integrity because it's supposedly rAciSt. If we can't even "regulate" voting, on what basis are you going to "regulate" our right to keep and bear arms...?? Can we regulate religious practices? How about we force all Muslims to register themselves with the government? If they don't register (and PAY for the registration themselves) then if they are caught practicing Islam then they can be arrested and sent to federal prison. How about we force all women who want an abortion to first get a government-issued permit (that they must pay for themselves), and in doing so their abortion will go into a permanent federal database...?? Etc. etc. etc. etc.
