I honestly don’t care for Poshmark that much. I did have my biggest week on there over a thousand dollars in sales.I rarely share my closet nor do I do bundles. I list certain items on Poshmark that I don’t List on EBay which is mostly high end designer clothes that sell themselves . What I don’t like about Poshmark is when a buyer purchase something and they don’t finalize the order and I have to wait the 3 days to get paid when you already have had my items for 3 days. I’m paid instantly on EBay and I do sell way more on EBay that’s why my focus is not on Poshmark. Great info though

I did just ebay for a year and then added Posh, and my sales gave doubled! I love Posh. It's now my favorite lol. I do use Posher Va though so it's so easy.

Another thing that I do is I share from parties. I go into the last PM party and share for about 10 to 20 minutes a day. I find this gets a lot of attention as far as followers and return shares because party sharers are active on the platform. I have found that this alone has helped with daily sales.

Cayley thank you so much. I’ve learned so much from you. Tax season is almost here. There is anyway you can explain to us please. How does Poshmark charge reseller income tax ? For example if I paid 4.99 $ , I sold 25$ I made 20$. Do I pay tax on the 25$ Or 20$ ? Sorry. I’m a new reseller I only have been doing for one year. ❤❤❤thank you so much.

You only have to pay tax on the amount after inventory cost/ shipping and posh fee. You don’t make $20 because you still have to pay posh fee. Talk to tax professionals because there are a lot of write off as well. Ps, posh don’t change you income tax, the fed and local government are

I will not give tax advice because I think you should see a tax professional for your exact situation and location but I can tell you that I do write off my office lease as an expense and having an additional space has been tremendous for me.

In the app-you open your closet and at the top right there is a wrench looking icon you click on and it asks what you’re sharing and you click on everything or just a few items and share to your followers

Ummmmm.... Description is searchable on ebay. That's why you copy n paste your title into the description... But good content otherwise

Thanks! I will look into it more but when you search something on ebay you have to go to advanced search to check a box to include the description in your search. That tells me that it doesn't search descriptions by default?

It's normal. Poshmarks algorithm matches you with other poshers and creates auto follows.

It really depends on the types of items you have for sale and how often you list. I would start by just listing stuff that you already have to see how it all works.

That title structure has been suggested by ebay for years so I just continue to use it regardless. No, it will not allow you to list if the title is too long.

I'm not 100% sure. You definitely have that option on the regular share screen but when you click schedule it doesn't say that. However, I believe it's pulling the information from that same screen.

No, they do not revert back.

You have to copy that listing if the item doesn’t sell. Select edit on that item. Scroll to the bottom. Then click on the Copy Listing icon at the bottom. Then scroll up and put it back at the original sale price, click next and list. Once you do that , go back to the item that you dropped the price on and select delete listing.

How do you prioritize keywords when there is title character limit? There could be an entire video dedicated to item titles! You are right-- it certainly is a skill!

Anything that I can't fit into the title, I out into the description. As far as prioritizing which ones to put in the title it really depends on the brand. For example free people, anthro, and brands like that benefit more from having the style name. Other brands like eileen fisher benefit more from having the material in the title. It takes a while to figure it out but after some time you learn what the customers of each brand are searching. If you want to study up you should search the brand and look up sold comps. See what keywords most of the solds say in their titles.

Love your videos! I have been thinking about using posher VA but am hesitant due to the no "bots" rule. I've heard different opinions but what's your thoughts on considering it an "assistant" over a "bot"?

Everyone is using it. I have never experience any issues. I think they recommend not sharing more than 6k times a day in total to keep poshmark from flagging. Posherva has a setting where you can set the limit so it stops once it reaches it. It seems much less risky than it used to be.

@@cayleyelaineI use a program for sharing and usually share about 8500 per day. I’ve never been flagged unless the program adds multiple share times(which happens from time to time). Then, the program can’t share because the share limit of 10K/ day has been reached. But, the share program resets after so many hours, which allows shares again.
