Also, instal a "key safe" outside your home so emergency responders can get in if you become incapacitated by illness or a fall or accident or heart attack or stroke. If you need to call an ambulance you want them to be able to get in. And keep your phone and a torch within reach at night.

All excellent points, Pam! The only other thing I can think of is having membership with AAA in case your car breaks down on the road, battery dies, or lock your keys inside, flat tires, etc. As you probably know, there are also many other benefits to being a member -- you can take care of a lot of your DMV stuff like registrations and more at an AAA office instead of at the DMV. And I'm glad you mentioned finding ourselves a "Mister Nugget!" They are more than just a burglar/intruder deterrent; they are also your best friend! 🥰Thanks for sharing, Pam, and I wish you a great wonderful day! 🙂

Thanks Bella! Excellent idea about AAA! I have had to call for assistance several times over the years. I didn’t know about doing the registration at an AAA office. I’ll check that out. Yes the pups are everything! 🙏🙌💕All the best!👍😊

@@SoloSecondHalf Yeah, if you sell or buy a vehicle, you can take care of all your necessary paperwork at an AAA office, and they are usually much faster with their services than the DMV. They also have great information on traveling and vacationing, etc. Also, most auto parts stores give you at least a 10% discount for being a member, you just have to ask about it. They've bailed me out many times after being stranded on the side of the road.
