Sorry to hear about your dog. Dogs are the best! I still miss mine. I think the best thing you can do first is start going out for long walks, maybe start with walking a mile, then work up to 2 or 3. Make it a daily habit. Best if you can find a route that's away from people and traffic. It's so good for you physically and mentally. Meanwhile you can experiment with your diet and other types of workouts but just keep up the daily walks. Regular walking or jogging works wonders on your overall health.

Yup Carbs are my go to as well. Bread is crack. Good luck! I’m thinking of trying carnivore too. It’s hard.

I'm so sorry for your loss with your dog. Losing pets is hard. Health challenges can get the better of us. Personally I'm plant based and it works greta for me. I also like to stretch regularly, do light walking excercises and drink more water and green juices. A big one is just practicing tiny acts of self care though the day. Most gyms are noisy and overwhelming for my HSP personality. Nad with the kiddos it's so much easier to workout at home. So I do simple one minute dance and movement videos on my YT channel. I'm happy for you making positive changes in your life. It's also a good time just before rhe new year rolls around. All the best.
