I am an ex starbucks barista, and that's conspiracy about starbucks baristas are trained to write customer's name wrong for marketing is not true😁 Sometimes, we can't hear clearly when customer say their name maybe because of music or the crowd. Most coffee places don't have enough group heads to do triple shots for 16 Oz cups or high cup machines to be able to fit a 16 Oz cup. Those machines tend to cost a lot more and out of budget for smaller cafe's.... Just saying..

How do Starbucks and Costa coffee train their young staff I ordered a cheese and pepper croissant with my hot drink I chose medium drink the young man took away my croissant he was going to heat it Oh I envisioned something really nice crispy fresh but he gave me some dead gloopy mush in a bag very hot.. I just went and got a new one in a packet ate it cold at least it was a croissant. I gave him the dead croissant back How do you keep standards when you have a lot of staff to train

I've never understood why people buy gift cards. Cash is like a gift card that can be spent anywhere. Not to mention, if you buy a $20 gift card, you're very unlikely to buy exactly $20 worth of product, so you're probably gonna spend like $25-ish to clear out that gift card.
