Tamar, Every time I see one of your videos I am blown away at your intelligence and ingenuity. Besides your demeanor being so carefree and light. I really enjoy all your videos and how you overcome problems. You don't make it seem like everything you do is perfect the first time. When I started watching youtube woodworking videos, not many excellent woodworkers show their warts, their mistakes. It's refreshing to see I am not the only one who gets turned around sometimes and has a senior moment! haha. Anyway, thanks for imparting your knowledge on us and you deserve all the benefits that come from your talent.

I watched some of your earlier videos and made some criticisms about safety and work choices. I am so pleased that your technique is so much better! Excellent technique and you efficiency is exemplary! So straightforward and creative at the same time. Really well done now. I think safe habits and efficiency go hand in hand. One tip on cutting dowels: when using a quarter round bit start the cuts not all the way at the end. The square portions at each end keep the wood square and prevents rolling of the piece while milling. Then trim the ends and you’re done. Keep up the great projects!

Hi Tamar. I am new to woodworking and really appreciate your videos, both for the work itself as well as your cheerfulness, which makes me smile. I won't bother to reply to the Informed Consent comment. I LOVE YOUR OUTTAKES on this video. I think the cheese slicer will be my first project...

Just wanted to drop back in and say A big THANK YOU for the trivet project idea. Before your video, I hadn't heard of "trivet" and now I'm creating all sorts of versions. I've made so many now for family and friends - as well as for my home. Love your channel and appreciate your work so much.

Thank you for being so creative, entertaining and informative and on top of all this a super mom I'm sure. I'm sure that some of us watching couldn't even handle a fraction of what you accomplish everyday. It's very sad to see that people choose to use their time and effort to criticize someone else's effort, talent and generosity. I for one am very grateful that you decide to use your time wisely and to inspire people like me. Tamar Thank you for being a great example!! Cheers from the windy city USA!

Your info is what I have been looking for! I am new to woodworking and I know I can learn the terms you are using. With Christmas money I bought a 12" double compound miter saw. My next purchase I hope to be a table saw. So glad I found you. Joy. Pgh, PA

”Nothing says ‘I love you’ like giving the gift of scrap” LOL! Love your work and humor. I have always found woodworking a nice means of pause/escape/meditation away from the girlfriend/family/job, but your husband is not likely to get that rest, but then he gains professional tips from you if woodworking is his passion also 😊 Keep up the great work! Love the cheese cutter! Outtakes are great :-) Holiday greetings to all!

Ahh the struggle of adequate shop power. I am so glad to have moved into a new house with a decent sized garage. First thing I did was have an electrician wire the crap out of it. 100amps of power with ALL outlets being dedicated. Planning on making youtube videos in the near future. Always inspiring to see other makers on this site. Keep it up! :)

👍For the storing of the dowels and the magnets! It's a simple solution but most importantly it takes a rather "boring" project/gift into something cool! Plus it makes it a better product... And the person receiving it will have to figure out what it is after opening it... Which makes it even more fun!

Great ideas and great presentation, too. I laughed at the guy who called you "annoying to watch". For what its worth, I think your presentation is very approachable. To each, his own. I read your explanation about your foot warmer thing. Maybe it says more about me, but I just assumed it was an ankle monitor for home comfinement.

Thank you Tamar, I am ordering the cheese slicer kit. That Chevron pattern is great for a Challah board with hidden knife. You just have to re rivet the knife blade into the Chevron pattern handle that fits in one of the corners. When I lived in Oregon and got invited for Shabbat I would gift these boards with the knives and everyone loved them. The pepper jack cheese made me miss the great Kosher pepper jack cheese I could get in the USA. Israel unfortunately doesn't have pepper jack cheese but lots of other wonderful things they don't have in the USA. Thank you again for another creative and wonderful video. שבוע טוב
