I watched some of your earlier videos and made some criticisms about safety and work choices. I am so pleased that your technique is so much better! Excellent technique and you efficiency is exemplary! So straightforward and creative at the same time. Really well done now. I think safe habits and efficiency go hand in hand. One tip on cutting dowels: when using a quarter round bit start the cuts not all the way at the end. The square portions at each end keep the wood square and prevents rolling of the piece while milling. Then trim the ends and you’re done. Keep up the great projects!

👍For the storing of the dowels and the magnets! It's a simple solution but most importantly it takes a rather "boring" project/gift into something cool! Plus it makes it a better product... And the person receiving it will have to figure out what it is after opening it... Which makes it even more fun!

Yeah! It was fun for my kids to figure it out ☺️ glad you like it!

Great ideas and great presentation, too. I laughed at the guy who called you "annoying to watch". For what its worth, I think your presentation is very approachable. To each, his own. I read your explanation about your foot warmer thing. Maybe it says more about me, but I just assumed it was an ankle monitor for home comfinement.

Miss Tamar, always a pleasure watching you work! Your scrap ideas generate good gifts while reducing your scrap pile. Love the box, trivet. And cheese slicer! Thanx for continuing to put out good content and I enjoy your enthusiasm! The outtakes are fun as well!

Thanks for the idea! My son has cut fingers a couple times cutting cheese. Ordered the kit for him as a birthday present, and built it together. Even imitated your chevron pattern, turned out great!

Thank you Tamar, I am ordering the cheese slicer kit. That Chevron pattern is great for a Challah board with hidden knife. You just have to re rivet the knife blade into the Chevron pattern handle that fits in one of the corners. When I lived in Oregon and got invited for Shabbat I would gift these boards with the knives and everyone loved them. The pepper jack cheese made me miss the great Kosher pepper jack cheese I could get in the USA. Israel unfortunately doesn't have pepper jack cheese but lots of other wonderful things they don't have in the USA. Thank you again for another creative and wonderful video. שבוע טוב

Great gift idea! That’s so funny because every time we go to israel, we are always so excited to eat all the amazing cheese there! 😂 there’s this one guy in machane Yehudah that we could spend hours at!
