I'm going to experiment with this, but it seems as if doing these while also focusing on, say, a painful thing (something that makes you upset/angry/cry/scared/etc) would allow that thing to, hmm, "un-stick" itself from where it's "stuck"/"trapped." Have you found this to be the case? Or do you have ways to use this in order to change beliefs, feelings, and/or perspectives?

Absolutely! I have heard testimonies of people who use neuromotor exercises like EMDR. I have not used the techniques for that purpose, but others have shared that they were helpful.

OK, but what types of positive changes should one notice after doing such exercises? And wouldn't doing something playing the piano or juggling also create brain synchronization? Thanks.
@GiftedBrainStudios2 ай бұрын
Hello Max, Yes, you are correct. Playing the piano, juggling, some sports, dance, gymnastics, and martial arts all build the same areas of the brain. New and larger neural networks in this brain region could have many benefits. We actually use all parts of the body, arms, and legs, to do large-scale exercises to stabilize mobility and retrain the brains of stroke patients to enable them to walk, talk, and feed themselves again. Small-scale exercises like in the video build focus and attention.

And may I ask you how this brain sync helps? Serious question, i cannot seem to find any relevant info on the benefist and things it is great for. Like can it make meditation easier?
@GiftedBrainStudios9 ай бұрын
That’s a great question. We use a more specific protocol for stroke patients; to rebuild neural networks so they can walk, talk, and feed themselves again. But the process is the same. These hemispheric integration exercises build new neural networks in the brain, connecting at the corpus callosum. Yes, it can benefit many everyday activities. Hope this explanation helps. 😀

@GiftedBrainStudios2 ай бұрын
It can be difficult to do if the needed neural paths do not exist. In that case, you're actually causing new neural networks to be built. It's wonderful to do for a few minutes everyday and then check in a month later and see how far you've come. It goes from frustratingly difficult to super easy as the brain builds the network. Keep it up, it WILL get easier!

aargh its hilarious. If I do it slow in total focus the first one is doable. But making it automatic and fast its just...its a mazing how two thumbs always come up, why is that? When and why have we build these pathways such way that exercise 1 seem to brake it down? BTW have you heard about hemisync?
@GiftedBrainStudios9 ай бұрын
Hi there! Thanks for reaching out. I do know about hemisync. I love all binaural beats. It's common when you're first building the required neural networks to have a lot of mistakes, but as you practice and build and strengthen those pathways, you get more accurate with fewer mistakes. Muscle memory comes into play too.
