Me when I started blitz: 1. I thought the tanks were listed on how good they were so I thought the Alecto was the best tier 4 2. I thought that you could exchange credits for gold and lost 200 gold that way 3. I thought that the red on the armor profile meant that you had a good chance of destroying a module

I think the biggest strategy tip that can be given, particularly for players coming from the PC game is that it is called Blitz for a reason. Once battle is joined between the two sides you have to get involved wholeheartedly ASAP. You can't be on the fringes, or off capping bases; even playing one low tier short for a minute or two, and your team is going to lose. And where that battle is fought is vital as well.

Another tip, especially free to play player: *Watch the ads* Doing so will net you 10 golds. And since you get 5 ads per days, it will net you total 50 golds each day. Also, watching ads 3 times will also complete mission which give you 1500 free EXP, so take advantage of it.

That’s what I do And then when the free exp certificates come to the store I buy a bunch of them, and combine them I only need I believe around 45 of them then I get the LEGENDARY EXP CERTIFICATE! 430k exp if I remember

Great tutorial Martin! One of the main things I have noticed in game is that players do not keep cover between reload or pulling out side ways showing their weakest parts.

If your new to the game, start off in TDs and make sure the tank has atleast a 150 mm gun. TDs have amazing camo values and all you have to do is snipe, plus they have naturally big guns 😉

What a shame this video wasn't available years ago when I started playing. I didn't spend xp wisely early on, not understanding how to use it "wisely". And I also burned through extremely limited stocks of gold not knowing that you could spend credits instead.

Great tips. I love to play SPGs but had no idea about the red lines. As noob there are a bunch of things about the game I simply don't understand. Is there a decent guide somewhere that details the 'behind the scenes' stuff like combining certificates, enabling them, how to convert elite xp etc. etc? It is the out of battle stuff I really don't understand very well. Cheers.

If I can travel back in time, I would have told myself to go with Russia meds. When I started 4 years ago, noob me thought that the FV215B line was fantastic. That was before the 2 Churchill and Black Prince were buffed. It was the most painful grind ever, with awful mobility, very poor penetration, and not so great armor. I experienced no joy, until I made it to the Conqueror.

Another good tip : join a Clan but be realistic don’t apply to join LGN, LOCA or RA1D lol, use Blitzstars to find a clan that fits your skill level and outlook on the game , talk to the guys that have a good WR/ DPB most clans will have experienced members that are willing to help you either by tooning or pointing you to good YT channels, obviously this channel

Can someone help me? I’ve just researched the IS-7 as my second tier X, and am really struggling. The armour seems to be paper thin, even when just facing forward which is want you’re meant to do due to the pike nose. The gun is horribly inaccurate. I keep losing game after game. It’s one of my worst performing tanks. Teams seem to be horrible when I play it. The E-100 is so much better, I actually win games and do damage. What am I doing wrong?

If you sit in middle of open ground, then no tank has enough armor. Hide your weakspot, ALWAYS try to play like you have 1 hp even if you are in full hp maus

Not a good idea-- frequently, especially if you are low tier in a battle, you cannot penetrate the red armor with AP rounds; you *have* to use prammo to do any damage.

The XP situation is the most confusing, and this video fails to explain the basics. Combat XP is on the tank itself (the number on the tank icons in the tech tree) and, as stated, is the bulk of the XP earned in a battle. It can be used to research modules for that specific tank and the next tank in the line. Free XP, which is 5% of the Combat XP, is the top right of screen and can research anything. The TIP is: Once you research the next tank, that tank has ZERO Combat XP, so Free XP should be saved to research better modules for it so you are not driving a crap, slow tank with a poor gun until you can earn enough Combat XP to research modules. Of course, if you have enough Free XP, can you research the entire line to the next tank and not buy or play the newly researched tank at all. As for Elite XP, it's XP when a tank is fully researched (all modules and next tank in the line). Also, save your Combat XP boosters for times you really want to research modules or the next tank fast.
