Suggestions from a old TD player ( not pro btw) 1. Make sure you know the map well and position your tank where you are certain that enemy will come and you will get shot. Otherwise you will have to cross half of the map to get to the right position and by then you may get flanked or die. 2. Don't go alone if your a td. Always make sure there are mt or Lt or some team with you. I'd your going alone to camp or whatever you may get easily flanked by enemy team. 3. Having patience is key in TD. I see many TD players just rush with ht or mt and die. You have to have some patience for the enemy to show up. 4. Don't ever underestimate the enemy. If your a high dpm TD like the Su family you might think like enemy lights are easy and you may just shoot blindly. Resulting in missed shot or less damage . This was few and if you have any you can add up.

Yeah cuz the AP pen is bad but the HEAT one is pretty good actually. Can't too much rely on AP. The good thing is SU have derp gun so you can just splash that HE on enemies.

I definitely am the mostly camp and snipe TD player. Generally find a comfy spot in the back where I have good lines of sight. I only move in once we're down to 3 or 4 on the enemy team. And here's where the advice I know but haven't successfully implemented myself: know the map. I know some quite well, but I guess the matchmaking hates to give me the advantages of getting to play those maps. So yeah, I need to get better at that myself lol Great video and good advice.

Lol the underlying theme is support movement (steel on target ) period Martin im New but not new to teamwork As I play i follow many different strategies in rotation. Shooting is a love of mine ❤ all the different scenarios To different degrees ( best outcomes) In mind support always by spotting crossfire co op targeting to name a few on occasion i see an advantage to hit that first target I'll die if I have to Mostly try to up my ho per game average Killed it by fighting ANGRY CONNOR for 936 matches in a light tank snapping folks toying with the above learnt alot Tanks for all you do Martin

3 year's later same still applies you can't go rushing forward in a TD there support tanks that play from the back line in cover

TDS I find are a interesting challenge.. Strengths and weaknesses tanks don't really have in the same ways.. Good tricks there.. 👏

FOR EVERYONE wanting to know the details of the Halloween event: I have browsed the game files (text files) and found out that the new event is named Night Hunt, The 2 new Halloween tanks are named Annihilator and Spike, The animated camos have a 5% drop chance in crates, and there is also evidence of the Smasher returning to blitz.

I usually allow the enemy to overextend before I shoot them, that way I have multiple shots before the enemy pulls back, always in second line

Hey Martin, can you do this topic on the HT one? Because I still see alot of players are camping on HT in the back,wrong positioning, choosing wrong line etc.

People hate it because they don’t know how to play it. As a lot of the player base are noobs, they will struggle to play the tank class/type. Tank destroyers are supposed to be in second line support, behind teammates, or sniping at the back of the map, depending on if you are a glass cannon or not. Tanks like the RHM B WT should not really be in the second line, they should be sniping at the back, and TDs that have more armour should be in second line support. I like to support the heavy tanks, as most tank destroyers don’t have turrets so if you go on the medium side the light and medium tanks might get behind you and wreck you.

I use Ap for shots like the shot you pentrated on T29 side, cause there's very high chance of hitting the tracks and getting only splash damage

Playing tds in blitz is not the same as in pc. Pc has the space with more spots to plant yourself in for an ambush. Blitz is broken, everyone goes down the same path because the rest are useless, you’re just too exposed. Blitz is for medium, high damage tanks with hella armor

Derp rage. In a Waffle I did 1100 HE damage to a Leopard that was peaking on the centre on Canyon. He trash talked me the rest of the game 😄
