My RC boat controller had a couple of bias knobs to adjust the centering of the steering and something to do with the throttle. Adjusting the steering bias made it better handling in the turns.

boats have rudder on right,so when rudder is adjusted the same travel left and right the boat will always turns sharper right ..when racing boats always race clock wise.

You will always get a sharper turn depending where the Rutter is relative to the screw and depending on which direction it turns

Awesome video. Great to have Alex back. You both bounce of each other and very funny to watch. I have brought a couple of boats lately none of these ones although I nearly did buy the Feilun 011 as I had seen few reviews and they all seemed to like it. Keep up great channel 👍

Catamarans are more fun for me. They get onto a plane more easily and turning is more of a skid rather than the carve you get with V-shaped hulls. I modified one by placing tape between the front half of the hulls creating something of a wing, made the boat faster and it flipped over more often.

this is the last of the boats on the channel until next year now but in the spring will be looking at bigger and better as they are extremely enjoyable and a catamaran is definitely on the list. Cheers mate

It turns more one way because the rudder is offset. As the prop is in the centre.

Boats turn better one way due to the propeller torque, if you reverse the motor direction & fit a right hand turn propeller the boat will turn better in the opposite direction. Warning dont reverse the direction of the motor & propeller if using a flex shaft or you will unwind the flex shaft. To run reverse direction you must also change to to opposite wind flex shaft as well.

every boat race i ever have watched is basically a large oval going clockwise... no sharp turns,just go as close to buoys as you can,since wider turns means longer lap times...and try not to hit other boats..totally different from car most racing...But nascar pretty much is just racing oval also...
