It's unfortunate that the second's game music doesn't even compare to Dark Arisen. Sure they're similar, but Dark Arisen's takes on all of these are way better and more high energy, something you'd expect in a game about fighting huge monsters. I wasn't expecting the soundtrack to be so subdued, and am thoroughly disappointed with it.

Elden Ring, but with fun, progressive combat and balanced gameplay.
@M--A--Z9 ай бұрын
Okay, bitterblack isn't balanced for people going there after Grigori and quick Everfall visit - it feels like the game expects you to farm and grind the same rooms over and over? And I refuse to do that. Base game is fine, linear fair progression, almost too easy. I'm stuck at Daimon fight, Warrior, level 75. Any tips would help heh. it feels like the game expects you to be level 200 for the fight? But where do you get those levels from, there's no locations left that I haven't visited. Can it be beat with pure skill only like in Elden Ring or is the game really this grindy dps trade xp-farmfest? The thing I dislike in Dragons dogma the most is the flat scaling on equipment - I want to use beautiful fashion combinations and the basic two hander sword (best looking sword in the game) but the game forces me to use these ugly anime toys (okay currently using saving grace it looks pretty good)
@mapachrod9 ай бұрын
@@M--A--Ztbh even at level 200, Daimon can be a struggle, so it really depends on the equipment, items, vocations you're using. In that sense it's much more grindy than skill dependant... Bitterblack island is kind of intended to be going through in several runs, and that's how you get absurd amounts of exp. And of course there are some cheese to get to 200 faster Also, you're right, the flat scaling is weird, you either do no damage or it's very good. Late game is all about high level gear and grinding
@Shioumenato8 ай бұрын
@@M--A--Z Well you probably beat it already, but truly preparing is half the battle in any circumstance. Fighter really isn't the best class you could use for this fight. You could use Assassin and dire gouge, ranger and tenfold flurry, sorcerer/mage and focused holy bolt, mystic knight and great cannon, magic archer as a whole, etc. Your level is low BTW. Dont forget to buy the periapts, it may seem like trying too hard, but they do make A LOT of difference.

These songs sound next level epic, like a movie soundtrack. Thank you, I'm glad to know these exist! I wonder if the Bitterblack Isle will be part of the main game, or DLC? I can't wait to get the next game either way. I think Dragon's Dogma 2 will be enough to motivate me to get a PS5, no way am I going to miss out on this gem! I can't wait to explore the expanded world, meet and fight new creatures, hoard every single item I can lay skin on. I can't wait to see if the new game's Pawns share the same quirks as the ones in the first game. They are a great part of the game, just as much as the monsters!
