Appreciate the historical insight. I definitely remember playing travel league ball and being wowed by other players rocking the OG Jordan’s while I was rocking some bobos. Took me a few years to save up for a special pair. Now it sucks that it’s so hard to cop a pair, especially anything with some “hype”. Kudos for your Hibbetts hook up, just wish the common folk can get some enjoyment too.

The 2014 pair was "Infrared-23" not "Infrared". There's a difference. We all know Nike/Jordan Brand tinkers with the colorways of their retros, this being no exception. Infrared-23 is a variation of Infrared, it's not the exact same. That's why they look different

@EABOY2600 comprehension is key. The same shade of Infrared was used on both shoes, which was "Infrared-23". It's literally on the box. Just because you have one pair the name because the upper was mostly that color doesn't negate what I said. Do your homework.

Back in 91 was when I got my 1st pair of J's.. walked in some wet grass and messed up the soles!! Luckily I kept the receipt and was able to return them for cash and bought a new pair at another store! It was a simpler time back then!

Looks really good, and way better than the previous infrared version. AJVI is my personal favorite AJ. I was in 6th grade when it came out, like half of the class had a pair but I was one of those who couldn't afford it. Thank the sneaker gods for this retro trend in the sneaker world. Apart from the nostalgia it brings, I'm a big Batman fan and AJVI's connection to Batman history makes this shoe all the more special for me. For those who didn't know, Michael Keaton wore VIs customized into bat-boots in Batman Returns. Perhaps a new all-black colorway should be done in 2022 for the film's 30th anniversary, maybe call it Dark Knight :)

Just received my pair from SNKRS. Honestly, the color differences between the 2019 and the 2014 is just, simply, too close. Don’t get me wrong, definitely darker and less of that pink hue but, closer in hand than most pictures/videos make it seem. Happy with them in this form/shape and slight color differential.

I remember as a kid I use to get every Jordan 1-7 for Xmas or just as a gift from my godmother, some models in different color ways. A lot of them actually. After that I wasn’t really that into them anymore. As I got older I got into them again but now I had to buy them on my own.
