I love daffodils. I'm giving up on tulips - too many squirrels digging them up. Your garden is beautiful!

Daffodils are wonderfull, I especially like the yellow types. They are like rays of sun shining their joy out of the still slumbering garden💛 Here in N-Norway we still have weeks of snow and winter, so I potted up some daffodil 'Martinette' and stored in the garage to bring some colour into the living room. Turns out this variety has a distinct odour of bad breath so it is definitely better suited for outdoor spaces🤢 I'll probably go for a different type next time😂 In the mean time I get to enjoy your wonderfull garden half a world away whil I wait for my own to come back to life🌸😊

I add to my daffodils each year. Nothing as hardy and pretty as their little blooms.

I also love anything that comes back every year. I buy a bunch of daffodils every year and love them all. I am in the south also and the only way I do tulips is in a pot and just pull them out after they bloom, Too expensive this year so I only did daffodils.

I don’t use too much annuals in garden. I need perennials that come back year after year.

I absolutely love daffodils. They are my favorite Winter bulbs. I love the poem by William Woodworth. Learned it growing up in Jamaica. 🇯🇲. I even wrote a poem about them myself. Beautiful garden. Glad to have found your channel. 😊

Marlene, I learn the same poem in primary school in May Pen 😆, many years ago; and I still remember it.

So maybe should try onion in tulip garden
@mytherapygarden39099 ай бұрын
😊 Yes, that the simple solution, but tulips don’t return year after year with vigor. They come back smaller and weaker!

Do you think Daffodils can grow in tropical weather?
@mytherapygarden39099 ай бұрын
Thanks for asking. Unfortunately, daffodils cannot grow in tropical climates, because they require a cold winter period in order to set their flower buds, and this is not possible in tropical climates.
