I go there for books, retro video games, board games, and table top RPGs. I recently found a Vampire the Requiem book by White Wolf there. I also got Mega Man 3 for the NES.

I know what you mean. That place can create new hobbies just by walking through it. I've started getting trade paperbacks of comic stories I find interesting - wouldn't have done that until I found their graphic novel section.

@@shelfcontrolgames This is so true! I've mostly bought board games and trade paperbacks/graphic novels in the past, but my "new McKay's hobby" is picking up some vinyl LPs!

I'm so totally in line with your love of McKay's! I'd almost say that going to McKay's to look for boardgames is as big a part of my hobby as actually playing them at this point. Like you said, it's such a great and convenient way for a person like me to sell games from my bloated collection. Yes, I could probably get more for some of them selling on BGG or through other means, but I just don't have the time for that. And most of the time, taking store credit really isn't all that far off the prices I'd get for all except the most collectible used games.

Yeah, the convenience comes with it's own value that usually balances it out.
