We got a male cross that had been returned to the SPCA twice and was quite timid when we got him. After a few years he has blossomed and has become a very happy cat. He has the run of an old house that has 3 stories and front and back yards. He LOVES to hunt and oddly he goes outside and stays in the yard. He is such a delightful animal and communicates his wants VERY well. Even tells us whether he wants cat food or Temptations. Yeah he is very bright. He is much loved and knows it. He will jump up on a table when he wants to be groomed and often comes after us for attention. Such a handsome boy too. We are so fortunate. And our mouse problem has gone.....

Clickbait. "Most people can not handle a Maine Coon" is not the same as "Some people can find it challenging and the breed is not suitable for everyone" Other than that, you have some good points.

Having had a few. I'd only say grooming.

I can't believe you guys added "long lifespan" in a video titled "5 reasons most people can't handle a maine coon" as if it's a problem. This goes for most animals, don't get a pet if you're not ready to sign up for a life long commitment and responsibility, period.

Most people get a pet thinking they can always let go of it doesn’t work out, but it’s important they know it’s a lifelong commitment.
