I’m glad you brought up the pain for women during sex part. You need to do a video with more in depth info on that. Because one misconception that I think a lot of men have, including myself, is that the more pain you give a woman during sex, the more pleasurable it is for her. I’m not sure where that misconception first all started. If it came from porn or movies or whatever. But it’s something that lot of men were taught.

In fairness there is a spectrum of pain. Some pain is good. How much pain is good. What is the threshold where it becomes simple straight pain and NOT fun? And so on. It’s not an easily observable boundary for us as men to push up to the limit and deliver maximum pleasure. That is where some questions like I posted above might make it clearer. I did used to make it a point with my ex to always pause now and again and ask her if she is was okay or having fun. The whole damn point of it all, is to have fun. When the fun stops, there’s no point to it.

I’d be immensely sad if my SO wasn’t having orgasms but what would hurt and horrify me even more is if she couldn’t, wouldn’t or didn’t feel like she could openly discuss this with me as her SO. Caitlin, we keep hearing that communication is key. I suspect when you have a room full of women, they won't keep quiet about what they like or are not getting. I have had partners that do communicate but it is very rare. More often than not when we meet someone we really care about, tallking about intimacy is like pulling teeth, irrespective of how much time you give them. I am curious if you asked women why they choose not to communicate with thier partner, what the reasons would be. There will be many men that will backup this experience. Once we get the impression that she is doing us a favor - we lose interest and attraction. I suspect the men that choose to stay in a relationship like this are the 30 second, roll over and go to sleep guys. Thier thinking is, if she doesn't take her satisfaction seriously, why should he? It is frustrating because the women we really want to open up with us, are not the ones that do. This is so on the money tbh. This nonsensical idea of telepathy for men to have in what the woman wants, is simply ridiculous and has gone too far. It was already at the stage that a majority of women expect to signal to men they want to be pursued but won’t actually bother to pursue the guy themselves, now this as well. It doesn't make sense to me, but I will try to quote her words verbatim in the hope it makes to others. She said that she intentionally doesn't communicate what she likes early on in the relationship because that would be letting her guard down, and if she orgasmed and he left, that would put her in a vulnerable position. I tried to put it in my own words to make sure I understood what she was saying. While the guy is trying to satisfy you (to assess whether you are sexually compatible) , you are consciously working against him (to show him that you are not compatible) to minimize your hurt in the event that he walks away. This exact behavior is most likely causing men to walk away. Men and women are completely missing each other. If our partners are not communicating with us, hopefully, we can learn something here. I was very patient with a now ex-girlfriend and helped her achieve orgasms when she was in her mid-20s. It's likely her cervix, yes. You'd might be surprised the variation in its placement from woman to woman; and it also changes placement depending on where they are in their menstrual cycle for every woman. After menstruation but before ovulation and after ovulation but before menstruation are when it's lowest and hardest. And it hurts for her when its hit too, trust me! A discussion regarding what else you two can do to feel intimate that doesn't hurt for either of you those parts of the month could help. But either way - I sincerely doubt it's anything to worry about.

With all respect, this is what I took away from this video: For women to have optimal sex with a man, they need a one-way street, where they share their stress, insecurities, emotions, vulnerability etc., and the man purposefully does NOT share his stress, insecurities, emotions,vulnerability etc. Because... when a woman shares herself that way, it helps HER feel safe and ready for sex. But when the man shares himself that same way, it causes HER to feel unsafe, weighed down, or sympathetically stressed out. If the man feels sympathetically stressed out by her sharing herself, then it's HIS responsibility to manage that stress and not let it rattle him. If he is rattled by it, then he is deemed "not an attractive or capable or safe lover."
