Easily one of the best modulars in years. Thought it looked good when announced. Saw it in person in my local LEGO store last week….. amazing. Will defo be picking up at some point. Still need to get last year’s one first however.

Just for interest, check out the Queen’s Chambers in Nottingham (UK), designed by the architect Watson Fothergill. It’s an almost uncanny match for the Tudor Corner.

I'm looking forward to building this one. Nice to see Lego catching up with interior details to Funwhole and Pantasy, who've been putting Lego to shame in that regard with their modulars. Structurally, this one is lagging behind the innovations we've seen from Funwhole, who are creating next-level designs, but it's definitely a big step up overall from the last two Lego modulars. A couple small observations: the printing on the inn sign needs some work: it looks pretty rough :( I believe the hat on the haberdashery sign is supposed to be a top hat, which would make more sense in context. Great review!

I wished they would have added a kitchenette, toilet and drop down bed on the apartment. Also, this wil be myt third build in a row wherein Lego has forgotten or provided the wrong pieces..something unheard of in the past and before they became very Corporate (read: profit) -heavy. It usually takes 2-3 weeks to get a missing piece from them.

Lego quality control has dropped noticably in recent years. I've had more inconsistenly colored pieces and missing pieces than I would have thought possible from a brand that was once the quality leader. And now people are reporting issues with a deformed/mis-molded piece in the Blacktron set :( Ironic that I buy a set from Funwhole or Pantasy for 1/3 the price and have no worries, but I have to wonder when I buy a Lego set--which is only infrequently now--if everything is going to be ok.

This is only the second modular I've ever bought and first I bought on day 1. I spent all day yesterday building it while it snowed outside and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and there is so much to look at. I was surprised at how much I liked the haberdashery but it packs so much color and detail in a really small space.

I love modulars! I think they really show off brick building at their best. If you get into building them, I'd very highly recommend checking out all the modulars from other brands like Pantasy and Funwhole, too. Super high quality, way cheaper than Lego, and more subjects/styles to choose from.

One of the best looking modulars ever. Only minor : it doesn't fit well with other modulars. Same problem Downtown Diner has.

I think it fits better than the diner . A lot of the modulars are older style buildings anyway but the diner sticks out like a sore thumb which is why I didnt buy it.

10:54 bummer that the bags are out of plastic again, I built the Tranquil Garden 2 weeks ago and was delighted to see that it was not plastic packed in more plastic what happend?

From what I understand, they're still (very slowly) transitioning their various factories worldwide to the newer bags. It's worth noting, though, that the "paper" bags still have a plastic lining, so I'm not sure if they're a real win for the environment. The "paper" bags are at this point more common in sets made in Europe versus Mexico.

Apparently in the cat lady appartment there is a print which intentionally shows a lanyard that implies the cat lady being (true to life) "neurodivergent". You can briefly see it in the video. I hate corporations pushing wokery down people's throats. Its paternalistic, disingeneous and tiresome. I identify as non-buynary.

I just look at it and instantly I see the same problems as Brick Bank, amplified. That stupid building on the side, why? Amplified, in the plain roof which is so much less detailed than the rest of the building. The Tudor facade on the main side is really cool as are the bricks on the main side but the second side loses almost all of that. For me, it's another one that will require extensive moc work to get a real Tudor building on both sides. Like the Brick Bank, moc design will be complicated, this time because the main side does not extend to the end of the base plate.

@David-qp9xe Likely. Mine's on the way, so I'm curious to experience it in person. Online, it seems way better than the last two in the series. Nice to see a modular with some charm and character and a really unique persona, which only a select few of Lego's modulars have, many of them feeling rather generic.
