Thanks for the video! For me, the clear winner to place on the stair side is the bookshop-townhouse. Looks fantastic

Great video! The Bookshop townhouse looks good on the left side. They are both British in style, and this gives a really realistic combination. The Detective´s Office looks great on the rights side as well. (They look like alternative builds of each other based on the same bricks). The only downside with the DO is that is very American next to an English building, so it is not so realistic in that matter - although I am not sure that matters in a Lego city. The Petshop Townhouse also looks great on the right side, but that is also very American. So I think my favorite on the right side is Brick Bank since it looks very good, and could also be an European building. I am also looking forward to your X-Men mansion next to Town Hall video clip :)

Thanks for the video! Few other channels do as in depth a job showing how the newest modulars look next to the others. These videos are always much appreciated. I think I'm going to put the Tudor Corner with the bookshop to the right in my shelf city. That combination really works for me.

i think for my favourite combination, i'd have the bookshop on the left where the stairs are because it works well there as you said which i do agree with, but over on the side with the haberdashery I'd join it up with the Brick Bank, because i think it works really well there. the sidewalks don't have a massive jump in different, the facades don't go so far back you see different coloured bricks that would be used for interior purposes. I just really like it. And a fun thing with them together can be the chimney sweeper can also clean out the Brick Bank's chimney. If only i did own bookshop, tudor corner, and brick bank to make a really nice corner for my slowly growing LEGO city

Lovely video and wonderful journey into the past ! I love the DO on the right, possibly my favourite on the left is the PS! And the more I see it, the more I feel the HM out of proportions and in the wrong colour. But tastes are tastes and the modular series is magnificent! Keep up guys!!!

Problem with putting the house part of the bookshop next to the Tudor corner is that you’ve got a house sandwiched between a bookshop and a pub. Bookshop is ok, but who would want to live next to a pub?

I love that you make these videos -- they're super helpful! I agree with your top picks, though the Cafe Corner might edge out the Detective's Office just a bit for me.

I personally have the Jazz Club to the left of my Tudor Corner. I love how the staircase and wooden trellis line up perfectly, and the side of the pizza shop is mostly yellow with a visible brick chimney, so its not distracting at all. I also like to think the person on the third floor might like being able to see the rooftop garden on the pizza shop.

Call me crazy, but I like the Police Station on the left side of the Tudor Corner. I think the little gap in the Tudor Corner really helps bring out the laundromat advertising on the Police Station, where as some others make it a little more obstructed. The newsstand is a little awkward, but I can look past that.

This is a really good series you've created, both useful and fun to watch. My only wish is that you'd include modulars from other brands like Pantasy and Funwhole for added architectural/aesthetic options and variety.

I have mine to the right side of the jazz club and I think that really works. The staircase being on the right of the pizzeria creates a little gap between the two low points of both buildings and I really like that 👌🏻 I have the Tudor corner as an end building rather than having Modular’s on both sides, if that makes sense 👍🏻

I don't have all the modulars, so I think Museum-Tudor-Bookshop is the best combination for me at the moment! I also tried the X-Mansion and I think it would work better if it was 1 floor taller and not so far back from the sidewalk!

I put my boutique hotel to the left of the Tudor Corner and it works good to me. They are the only two modulars I have and I did not like the opposite configuration. One modular I think would pair best would be the book store.

I like your final verdict. It won't be for me as I don't like those other sets (and don't plant to get them). I'll just monkey around with the sets I do have and make something work. Out of alll the lego channels yours showed the biggest diversity of other sets. Even including gardens and botanicals (although no Moc's). Which makes me say, your channel is unique and continues to offer above average quality! Thank you and please keep it up :)

Great vid. I will say for irl. We have little pubs like this in the weirdest of places 😂, everything beside them is either the same age or very modern. Which I think gives this thing all the more believability and choice to put what you want next to it

Why do you need an unobstructed view from the balcony? The police station looks amazing on the left of the tudor corner, and you get a view to the street from the balcony thanks to the little newspaper stand being shorter.

My issue with Tudor Corner is how little it looks like a Tudor building. The Tudor beamed top floor clashes with the more modern red brick below.Only in mock Tudor buildings will you see this. Maybe I'm being harsh though since I lived in places in England either reach Tudor building, and now live in one myself. I would have preferred the top floor matched the lower. Love the ground floor.

And this is why I can’t get into City modulars. 😂 I just see way too many colors. This is a “me problem” 😂 when there are so many different colors, I just can’t focus on the building itself. I love color! I’m in the camp of “I hate dull medium and dark stone grey castles” (which are just the color of ruins, not the majority of medieval castles in reality), but when I see a ton of different colors together in a display I lose track of focus. But that’s me. For example, I’ve been working on redesigning and changing the colors on the Medieval Blacksmith for almost 2 years now 😂. Just today, I’m waiting for another PAB order to arrive so I can switch some color bricks out, and I’m hoping this is the finally switch… fingers crossed 🤞 😂 I just can’t get into modulars. I’m driven crazy by the colors, but that’s me. The buildings, the structures, are all very beautiful in themselves. Great video! I would’ve loved to have been there watching you all swap modulars in and out, quizzical looks, scratching heads, debate debate debate 😂 hmmm 🤔 hmmm 🤔….

Nice, very nice. If only my city allowed for some of these designs. Sadly, the need to keep Palace Cinema's stickers out of the sunlight wins out, and Tudor Corner will be going next to it, simply so Cinema can be as far out of the sun as possible. Sigh, I really need some curtains, but how does one mount curtains to a door with a window built in? Seriously, any ideas? Rockatoa, Brickticks out!

My plan is police station on the left and perisan restaurant on the right. That's my first option, while my 2nd choice is the sanctum sanatorium to do a marvel block with the Tudor Corner and sanctum at the far corners then perisan and my half baseplate clock tower on the right with the pet shop townhouse I recently finished between my sanctum sanatorium and Corner daily bugle.

I have Brickcross on the left temporarily until the R56 track and R72 track arrive and then everything is getting changed when I can use Brickcross as a train station...but that might be months away. I really love Tudor, but these corner buildings are so much more difficult to integrate, maybe make corner builds a one in five years instead of one in three, they are awkward even though they look great.

@David-qp9xe
@David-qp9xe 16 күн бұрын
Yes. It sold quite well (8th best selling modular). Although I think it benefitted some because it was released right after the fantastic Assembly Square - so people were really into modulars at that time. In my opinion the Diner looks very good next to the Police Station.
