in my experience, sometimes i find dificult to sew certain corners and angles of vomumetric things such as bags, backpacks... and that is why i need a free arm machine but in this type of arms i use to notice the tip of it, tha last 1 or 2 centimiters... could be perfectly cutted (carefully) cause the more near this border is to the neddle the easier to sew that difficult areas... what i mean is: i'm considering about removing that last part of the arm bottom case in order to make it a little shorter since i can't find cheap sewing machines that came already like that... do you think this is a bad idea considering i would do it very carefully ? sorry about my clumsy english and thanks for the video !

Hi, you can easily remove the lower part of the machine and attach it to a wooden table, machine and you have solved the problem. 100 percent. Use the same screws.

I just purchased a Pfaff Hobbymatic 935 from the first owner this morning. I did get the booklet. The problem with the machine is when the presser foot is being lowered it does not meet the presser foot plate. Any ideas as to what I can do to figure this out?
