Good and apropriate clothing to stay warm and dry. Especially the core. Mud tyres are a must have! Powerful lights to prolong the ride.

Ride your bike all year round regardless of conditions. I love riding Sub-Zero , with the proper clothing your cocooned . Enjoying the outdoors while everyone else is shivering. There are winter boots on the market for cycling. And I strongly suggest that you don't use cycling gloves for extreme cold use ski gloves . Have a proper bike for the snow and enjoy. Been doing this for 40 years or more loving it

Snow groomed single track in BC and Alberta is a new level of fun. Snow packed trails are wonderfully grippy and fast.

Southern Hemisphere in South Africa! Been having 30 degree C days. BUT summer is muddy for us too… just rains… but love the longer days though so can get out after work! Our winter is beautiful too though… dry and doesnt snow here… maybe everyone should just come here!

Winter is a great time to ride where I live, unless the snow gets too deep. Cold and dry, normally, ground is firm, excess vegetation is gone, no bugs, no heat. Good to go for me, down to about 15 degrees F. Good times.

Yes! Will be riding all winter this year. Live in Sweden so it gets cold and dark. The trails are available until there is snow. Most trails here intertwine with prepared cross country ski courses so no mtb riding then. At that time it is time to change discipline to the gravel bike with spiked tires and powerful lights. Cold AF and not as fun but it has to be done…

Here in Bavaria we get snow, lots of it. we have winter tyres for cars and bikes. Mine have studs. Riding through the snow is great, you can also park and do a bit of cross country skiing, or tow sledges or get the dogs out LoL

I don't really mind riding in winter....What I do dislike though is having to wash the bike after every ride during winter. I even 1 or 2 times did not go out, because I was not feeling it to have to wash the bike after.

Down here in south eastern US..we get about 1 month of freezing temperatures out of 3 months of winter... If it gets below 0 it's very seldom.😋..in finland the bike trails are plowed in the city...bikers will be bikers adventure outdoors 🚲 🌐 ❣️

Sliding around in the dirt during winter? Heck no! Where I live we slide around on ice and snowy trails on fatbikes, in temperatures down to -25c (Northern part of Sweden)
